BirkenstockWomen's Arizona Sandal

I had heard about the amazing fit and support of Birkenstocks from a friend with a pinched nerve in her foot, which caused her pain with every step. She has a few pairs now, and says that as long as she is wearing her Birks, her foot may as well have nothing wrong with it: they are so comfortable and supportive she doesn't feel any pain anymore. I was sick of buying 5 new pairs of $10 sandals every summer, and I wanted something cute that fit my style and wouldn't break the bank, and the added bonus of good foot support sounded good to me too: so I took a chance and bought these. I am so glad I did. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and they fit me perfectly. (I'm an 8 or a 9 in US shoes generally, so I picked 39M according to the size conversion chart). Keep in mind that they do take a few days of wear to "break in" and really conform to your foot, but once they do they will fit like a dream. I would actually prefer wearing these to being barefoot, and I generally find shoes uncomfortable! I've been wearing them for three months now and there is no real wear and tear visible except for the mark of my foot on them. If you're uncertain about these, buy them: at such a low price on Amazon they're a steal too! I never want to wear another sandal again!

These are very comfortable and I love them and wear them every day. I would say order a size down as they were a little bit larger than I expected.

The product was every bit as good as you would expect from Birkenstock. And, the service from the vendor was incredibly fast. However, the sizing was a big misleading. EU size 39 is supposed to fit US size 8-8.5. (Which is the size that the intended recipient wears in almost every shoe in their collection.) But, it was a good inch or more larger than anticipated. Oddly, EU size 38 (which is supposed to be the equivalent to a US 7-7.5) actually fits more like a US 8-8.5. Perhaps these sandals are meant to be worn with thick wool socks?

I chose this sandal because my daughter has been wanting a pair and this product was in my price range. Worried that the product would be cheap and not in comparison to the more expensive Birkenstock, I was thrilled when my teenager loved them. She wears them everywhere and says they are comfortable and her friends now want to order some from amazon as well. As a single parent buying a good quality product that will last and be liked is important. I would definitely recommend them.

I love Birkies. If you're looking for the last word in comfy shoes, they should be on your list of must-try. European sizing can be a bit difficult to dial in if you're not accustomed to it, but it only took me one send-back and Amazon could not have made it any easier. Not everyone loves them, but those of us who do can't live without a good pair - and I guess after ten years on my old ones, they really didn't qualify as a "good pair"! :)Dang, just had to get another pair after only three years! I guess they don't make 'em like they used to -- or maybe I need to change to my garden clogs when I'm working and watering in the garden! :-)

I was skeptical to buy these, mostly because I love my chacos and thought it couldn't get better than that. I have falling arches, so the first couple days I work these I was ready to return them. But I tried them one more time, and I have to say.. now that they're worn in and I'm more adjusted... I'm in love! Definitely worth the price, would definitely recommend.
