Works Great!
This unit is being used for 2 very small bog ponds adjacent to my larger 2 koi and Gold fish ponds.Electric would be a pain to run for aeration for those new bogs and this unit fits the bill.* All parts look quality. It uses USB cabled to connect to solar panel. . An aux USB cable is included to rechargeThe unit if the batter runs down because of lack of sunlight.* The unit must be charged for a while before using. This is a must. Make sure it changes to green before hooking up for use.* Air flow is great through the 2 air outlets. Kind of surprised me. Strong bubbling in the water given off.* I am using the intermittent function which turns the unit on and off. As it will save power and supply more thanenough aeration. A larger pond I would use continuous function.* I put the unit which looks to be very water/moisture proof in a protective cedar box for added protection fromthe elements. I plan to use it all seasons. The unit is working great and exceeding expectations.I will follow up in time as to 1. battery life overnight and if the unit survives 6 months and 1 year marks.I would see no reason they would not achieve these marks as the unit dose look to be a quality one.

Lasted a month.
Worked fine for about 30 days - then nothing. It was never amazing, the hoses expand in the heat and pop off regularly. It was an annoyance I could live with given that it was pretty inexpensive. However, I did expect the set to last longer than a month. When it ran, it would produce a decent amount of bubbles in my stock tank water garden. On sunny days it could run most of the day/night cycling on and off. Over time it ran less and less and now it won’t run at all - even when plugged into USB power. It’s junk, save your money.

Great product, easy to set up and use
I use this in my container garden to aerate my EarthBox and Patio Pickers sub-irrigated planters.I bought some cylinder-shaped air stones so they would fit down the reservoir fill tubes on my planters, since it was obvious that the round stones that come with this would not fit.I’m very impressed by the efficiency of the solar panel, and how quick and easy this thing was to set up. Very reliable so far, and the battery seems to last all night.I love it, and my plants seem to as well. I can’t say for sure that it’s increasing growth or production, but my garden is thriving and I like the way it looks and sounds.I installed the solar panel by using zip ties to attach the mounting bracket to my deck rail. I can take it down in seconds at the end of the season.I also plan to take this fishing with me since it seems great for keeping your bait or your catch alive when you’re not on a boat with live wells or bait wells.

It works… most of the time.
I bought this SOLAR POWERED Mini air pump to oxygenate two water troughs my son and I built for our dogs. We decided to put a few gold fish in the troughs to help keep the algae down and to give him something to enjoy taking care of from time to time. When I got it I opened the package and turned it on. It started buzzing and I could feel air pushing out of the little air ports on it so I confirmed it worked. I had to buy 25ft of plastic hose to add to the 6-8ft of hose that comes with the pump. I installed the solar panel so that it could get as much sun as possible in its location. “HONESTLY, It’s on the West side of our house and only he direct sunlight for about 1/3-1/2 the day.” With that being said. I set it to the 10 seconds on and 10 seconds off setting. Then let it run all evening and for about 48hours. It worked well. Pumped plenty of air through the stones to create a good amount of bubbles. However, when I came home the pump had shut off. It puzzled me. I unplugged it and removed it from its mount. Then tried to turn it on. It would not come on. I then took it to m car and plugged it into the Android charger in my car. The charging light came on so I let it sit for about ten minutes then turned it on and it started running. I let it run for about five minutes then it shut off again. The next day I took it to work and let it charge all day. When I picked it up at the end of the day the charge light was green and not red so it’s now fully charged. I brought it back home and hooked it up and set it to the 10 sec on and 10 sec off setting. Then let it run. I determined that what’s happening is unless it’s in full sunlight most of the day if not all of the day the solar panel can NOT keep up with the drain on the battery to keep it fully charged enough to run it through the night. So my fix was to shut it off when I go to work at 1pm. Then turn it back on when I get home at 11:30pm. It runs all night and half the day with no issue. When I turn it off it’s charging for half the day off the solar panel. Then at night it runs off the battery alone and runs with the solar panel charging during half the day. So far this has keep it running for about a week with no issue.Long story short. Make sure the solar panel is in direct sun light most of the day or it won’t run for more than a day or two till it dies. Once it dies you will have to charge it or let it sit in the sun and charge for a full day or more till it will run again. Also if the USB charger cable is used it will run without issue on high and never die.

System not sealed rusted and shutdown
Use this for a while but started noticing the pump was slowing down and having issues. When one of the two I bought died I opened it up and it was rusted like crazy with no rubber sealant. This lead me to believe the unit was not sealed which caused it to die.

the pump worked beautifully for the first three months...
The pump worked beautifully for the first three months, though we usually relied on the lithium battery (We don't live in a climate with a lot of sun). That was fine until this week when the pump battery would no longer charge up- the plug connection on the pump itself no longer activates to charge the battery. At first, you just had to hold the cord at a particular angle, but eventually it shorted out completely. So that's $40 to 'rent' a bubbler for three months. If you are okay with that, then this set is for you. As for me, I think I'll replace it with a different item. We purchased this in August- it's now November and it has given up the ghost.EDIT: I contacted the seller directly and was sent a replacement- very good customer service! But don't lose the little card in the box- it explains the contact info for the seller- not Amazon (iYeHo). VERY happy to have a new working bubbler again! Thanks!
