So far a home run!
I was a bit skeptical being that I got this for $60 compared to dealer and parts house wanting MANY times more, but for the price and the excellent reviews I said what the heck, gave it a try. So installed this evening, did the relearn procedure found online and WOW! EPC light went away! Cleared my codes then took it for a spin. Runs like a stinking top! Beetle hasn't run this well in a while. Still same day, but I am very pleased. I will update if things change. But for now I have my Beetle back!

Excellent!!!
Works wonderfully!! Took about 10 minutes to install & after resetting the battery, all error codes went away. The car runs like it has a hemi in it! All parts stores were charging astronomical prices for OEM, it’s better to wait 2 days to get an aftermarket part for a fraction of the cost!

It has been on my wife's Jetta for about six weeks now with no issues.
After picking myself up off the floor when the auto shop told me the part alone was $700...I decided to see just how hard it would be to do it myself with a $70 version. (I would have gladly paid 3-4X more for an American made part but not 10X...ridiculous.) There was one video online that was very helpful and very specific to the 2013 Jetta SE. It wasn't easy to find but it's there. Make sure to buy the gasket/seal online too. (there was a 5-7 day lag time when I bought) A local dealer charged me $30 for a $6 seal and to be honest...I didn't need it. It's a very heavy duty silicone seal that comes on the car and it was perfectly fine after 100K miles. Once I lightly cleaned it it looked, and felt, identical to the one I just bought... Of course it did. There is one clamp that you almost need a special tool for. I wasted over an hour with vise grips etc. and it is very hard to compress. I ended up using heavy gauge wire I had and twisted it tight...it's just as good. Although I do expect rolled eyes when a dealership sees it for any reason. (Well then don't make your customers buy an extra tool just to put a clamp on that didn't really need to be that hard to compress.)

Don’t let the price fool you works great
I have to admit I was a bit skeptical seeing how an OEM throttlebody is over $600 at the dealer, and this one is only 60. I bought a used throttlebody for $150 from a wrecking yard off a Jetta with only 30,000 miles. It lasted four days and left my girlfriend stranded. I decided to give this one to try and I’m so glad I did. It is an exact copy of the original one. This copy is so good that it was not necessary to do a relearn procedure after installation it ran perfect right from the get-go. FYI, my car was throwing the PO 122 code. pedal positioning sensor. Also code P0 638 I installed this a week ago and everything is still going fine. As far as how long is part will last I don’t know, but I will update this review.
