Lexham English Septuagint: A New Translation Hardcover – 15 Jan. 2020

Beautiful book. Print is a little grey for my liking, but I find that a common feature with this kind of book.This one thankfully had a sewn binding. Personally, I'm really glad I got this version, rather than one of the others, as it's the only complete direct translation in contemporary English. The other translations are by all accounts reworkings of other texts and a little 'lumpy' because of it. Has pride of place next to my KJV.

Really pleased, if you are looking to buy this you already know the content which i found easy to read, with very clear printing on thin but good paper (not the crinkly ultra this paper you sometimes get). The hard back is strong, its made from a hard board material. I have really enjoyed the differences in wording to the more "traditional" translations, well to be honest fascinated by them. The book has given me a more in depth understanding of scripture and more importantly its translation. Hope you enjoy it too
