Installed on a 2009 NISSAN ALTIMA 2.5. This kit was an easy installation with no hassle. Everything fit well and I was done in less than an hour. As soon as I drove the vehicle, I noticed more throttle response and a sharp improvement in power, particularly at higher RPM during hard acceleration.The sound change is worth noting, as it's a little beyond belief. Under heavy acceleration, the engine sounds like something entirely different; it's a beast! This thing really lets the motor breathe, and the sound is just downright mean.This intake system does exactly what KAL claims it does, and I'm very satisfied. Don't be intimidated; anybody with a few simple tools can install this in their driveway. Well worth the money!

For a cheap warm air intake this'll work. No shield, tube and filter get warm. Does fit as it should so that's good. Air gets to engine faster than stock air intake but is warm air. Does have a different sound when speeding up from a stop.I would say add a pedal commander for an easy install device that will help with throttle response. I'd also suggest looking at a major brand for a heat protected setup for cool air like the K&N products.

The media could not be loaded. the rubber hoses were a little cheap and one of them had a defect, it was cut a little bit but i made it work. i would also recommend keeping the stock air directer that’s in you grill that connects to the stock air box because it will give you direct cold air instead of this being a “ hot air intake “ other than that i think it gave me a little better gas mileage and it makes awesome induction noise great for car enthusiasts!

The media could not be loaded. Let me start from the beginning. I did not let the price question whether I should get it or not. The intake came two days early, which I was very happy about. Installed it the next day. Piping looked good; it had a good metallic/shine finish to it. The only problems I had was that the blue sleeve that connects the pipe to the engine of my car (I have a Nissan Altima 2008 coupe 2.5L btw) was too short. That led to the metal handle, that is screwed on with a nut to the screws already on the car, not reaching enough for me to tighten it well. I was able to find a replacement for the sleeve which was a bit longer. That DEFINITELY helped a lot because I was able to make the metal handle reach and tighten it. It sounded BEAUTIFUL! I felt the horsepower that was added when accelerating and the noise increased by at least 20%. Keep in mind that this is the first upgrade I've done on the car, so the difference was noticeable. The next day I noticed that the metal handle had came off the nut I had tighten it to, once again because it was too short. I was able to tighten it this morning, however I'm hoping it doesn't come off again, if not I would need to find a way to extend it more, but for now I am VERY HAPPY with the product. I was going to give it 4 stars because of the hassle I went through to make it fit perfectly, but I decided to go with 5 stars because my car pulls harder now, it SOUNDS AMAZING, looks way better inside the engine, and all of that together beats the small issue I had installing it. Thank you again. I'm glad I did not let the price question the quality of this product. I recorded a video this morning. I don't have a before video, but just lower the volume by 50% and that is how it originally sounded.

It was missing pieces

It was easy to install makes my car sound a lot more beefier. It as the description says only thing is that it needs a divider like some of the others have so your car brings in cool air instead of the engine heat cuz that's the whole point of a ram air cold air intake but all & all I am very happy with the price and the product.

I am not doubting the functionality of it because when I got it, I figured out it does not fit my car, but that little short street tube did not come with it amongst a few other parts, and the instructions are very vague and very flawed with spelling and grammar
