New gasket, no leak!
Product was easy to install. It may be a tad thicker than the one it replaced, because the door requires a firmer push to engage the locking mechanism. But it stopped the week and that's the most important thing!

Works perfectly at half the price!
I only wish I had tried this seal before SEVERAL others that either did not fit and were returned or were VERY difficult to install and caused the door to not close properly. Not to mention they all cost as much as 3x what this one does! $10 is fantastic. This one works perfectly! I am using it on an older Maytag model MDB7749SAM1. Seals completely (no more leaks) and the door closes easily! Although I did keep the door closed for a few hours before using it, as many users suggest, I did not need to, you could tell right away it closed properly. It also is VERY flexible unlike several others. Saves your fingers! OK there is a hard part but this IMO is true for EVERY other seal out there. It is a pain to install-they all are IMO. Easy install is not really accurate though reasonable. Be prepared to spend some time doing it right-slowly. I found the center, started from the top center and worked around one side and then the other. When done I trimmed the excess at both bottom ends. I left about 2 inches either side at the bottom R/L as this was how the original seal was. If you own the Maytag model above, this is the seal for you, hands down!

It fits well in my Whirlpool but a few installation tips are in order.
four installation tips---first check to make sure the seal is the problem. My leak ended up to be the hot air vent at the top left of the door. Water leaked thru the gasket inside the door and came out the bottom looking like a seal leak. Second the lip of the seal faces inward. Third, locate the seal at the bottom of your door before installing. On the whirlpool this seal is a flap integral with the door. The new seal MUST overlap this door seal on the bottom or there will be a leak at that location. Fourth, the new seal has three ridges along the v-shape portion that goes into the groove on the dishwasher. I only pushed the seal in as far as the second ridge, then closed the door for an hour or so then ran a hot wash. Sealed totally. My first try had a slight leak at one location when I pushed the seal all the way in initially. My 10 yr old door is probably a bit warped.

Fixed the drips for my dishwasher
My dishwasher was dripping. My first check was to tighten the screws inside the door. Second was replacing this piece - worked perfectly. Took me about 5 mins to replace. No more drips.

For My Dishwasher Model, This 3rd Party Gasket Leaked in Three Weeks...
Unfortunately, for my Whirlpool model DU1100XTPSA, this gasket only performed well for about 3 weeks. Whether it is the material compound (less resilient than the OEM) or the shape (different from the OEM) or both, the bottom line is that it didn't work for me. For additional information, after using it several times, the lowest part of the seal, where the it gets compressed by the door, has flattened and remains that way. The original seal was resilient, springing back towards it's original form in order to create a good seal.

No more leaks!
I have a 15 year old Whirlpool Quiet Partner II. The seal got old & the dishwasher started leaking. It would have cost me over $60 for a new door seal from Whirlpool. I'd buy another one at this price if it leaked again. It's thicker than the original and needed to be cut to fit. My door closes a little harder for now anyway, but it works
