Fixed an older Foodsaver V2480. Vacuums and seals properly now.

These gaskets are the correct thickness for the "UPPER" tray only! They are at least double the thickness of the original lower gaskets so when installed the distance between the heat seal strip and the heat seal gasket is to wide...! As a result it is unable to get a good seal on the bag. Do not purchase unless you only want to replace the upper seal. Update: To their credit the company contacted me and gave a full refund for the purchase. I'm upgrading this rating to four stars because of the customer service but the description of the gasket set needs to be changed to indicate that the gaskets will only fit the top tray.

I ordered these not sure if they would fit my Food Saver vacuum machine, it did not show my model number V2420. I thought maybe they mean series numbers, so I ordered the 2400 ones. They fit perfect, on my machine top and bottom gaskets are the same size. I ordered the 4 pack so I could have a couple for back up, 1 out of the 4 had defect. It had like a gouge v on it. Not sure if it happened on transit, either way I was back in business and didn't want to send all 4 back. Still a very good buy, now I know which ones to buy and where to get them.

I have a foodsaver v3840. These gaskets fit the upper gasket but they are too tall and to narrow to replace the lower gaskets. Unfortunately I can't reuse my semi working old gasket because it tore while I was removing it.

My food saver just would not work anymore, I’ve had it around for a long time. I finally decided to YouTube and troubleshoot it. Only thing I could find was a little chunk out of the spongy seal. Thought I’d take a chance and give it a try. Well that was it! Works like it’s brand new now. I have extras to pass on or use as time goes on. Anyway, it was a good move for me. I now have my food saver back, which I am beginning to use it almost daily again for leftovers and such. What is definitely a wise purchase for me.

Did not solve my problem

My model number wasn't listed and took a shot since the VS3180 is in the V3000 series family according to the owners manual. Length and width were good but height was shorter so they do not seal. Foam quality seemed comparable to original so should be fine if your model is listed.
