Simple, accurate, and NHS approved blood pressure tester.
After a high blood pressure scare, I needed a reliable means of taking blood pressure readings at home. The NHS website lists approved machines, and this was one of them.It couldn’t be simpler to use, with just one on/off button, and a clear, easy to read and large led display; you simply wrap it around your upper arm, leaving a 2cm gap between the inside of your elbow and bottom of the Velcro cuff, turn the machine on, and of it goes.A very useful feature is the auto-turn off function. No more flat batteries due to forgetting to turn it off after use.I have an older version of this an occasionally use both to verify accuracy/consistency of readings. The both perform flawlessly. It takes four AA batteries in an easy to access compartment beneath the device and I found battery life to be a little shorter than expected. That said, I am testing twice a day and on both arms. I use rechargeable batteries, so any related expense is negligible.Overall, it’s a very user-friendly and reliable little machine and highly recommended.

Made by a reputable company, easy to use.
Have found it very easy to use and batteries last well in regular use. It is accurate, as I have had on a few occasions had the good fortune to compare readings to those on visits to hospital. Easy to read results.

Reliable
Main downside is the metal inside the sleeve can hurt and leave a red mark on your arm when it compresses. Another downside is a lack of dates on the result history and a lack of an ability to go backwards and forwards through results (only forwards), both of which a wrist monitor of ours can do.

Would recommend this monitor.
I would recommend this monitor as it is quick and easy to use. However, the cuff was set up the wrong way round when it arrived, but it was quick and easy to sort - the little metal bar should not be touching your arm! (Photos show how it should be).The cuff is very tight when it is inflated, but it eases off quickly - this is necessary to obtain the BP reading. It seems to be accurate (going by my past BP reading a couple of years ago), but I cannot confirm this as I have not checked it against a GP/pharmacy device.

Honest review, genuine purchase
I have Arterial flutter often referred to as Arrhythmia. Having had several nerves inside my heart cauterised it is difficult to feel what is happening and accurately tell if I am in or out of sinus (normal) rhythm. This devise has been a real gem. The AF warning has been very useful and is accurate. The blood pressure is also very accurate, compared to the reading taken by the paramedics, hospital and my local GP, usually on much more sophisticated equipment. However my GP uses the bigger brother of this model in their surgery. One thing on the downside, it really could have be fitted with the ability to plug in to the mains (by use of a power adaptor), as it is really hard on batteries. Checking blood pressure several times a day when I am in AF, the batteries only last for a week, max. I now have eight high power AA rechargeable batteries, to rotate. They may be more expensive to buy but being able to recharge them rather than to throw them in the bin is a real money saver.

Accuracy ?
Not sure of accuracy of this product. Uses batteries up very quickly. My old monitor battery lasted for years.

Reliable
It’s easy to use (once I started putting it on right 😂) and easy to read. As far as accuracy goes, I don’t know as I have nothing to measure against, therefore I’ve given a 4 for Accuracy. . I usually take three readings a minute or so apart, sometimes longer, to see if there’s a significant difference. Sometimes the later readings drop if I’ve been doing stuff beforehand and then settle down. However, I’ve been taking readings for 6 weeks now and there is definitely consistency. Overall I’m very pleased with this product.
