This an an awesome setup! (But not for the tech-challenged)
First, let’s talk about the sound quality. I was originally looking for a really great set of headphones that I could plug-in and get truly great sound. When these headphones popped up in the suggestions I was skeptical. That lasted until my first listen. All of my guitars sound crisp and clear and bright. The sound is actually better than my beats studio threes and I imagine they would compare favorably to any other $400 pair of headphones. Now let’s talk about the tech. Being able to plug-in the little fob into my guitar and have it play through the headphones is awesome! When I was first looking at headphones I told myself that I would be content dealing with the cord. This completely illuminates that. So strictly as a practice device you get fantastic sound quality and a no Mas no fuss set up with no wires. The tech contained in this unit is simply magnificent. It’s going to be a little bit difficult to describe but I’ll try. When everything is connected the app that runs on your smart phone can be set up so that as you move your head the sound of your guitar actually changes position. I know, it sounds weird. But it’s awesome! Imagine that you’re playing the guitar facing your amp and then you move your head to the left and the sound of the amp stays in the same position so it would be louder in your right ear which is closer to the speaker. And then as you move your head the other way it’s still seems like the amp hasn’t moved even though your head is moved. In one of the settings the 3-D sound that you’re getting from the headphones makes it seem like the speakers are behind you. So imagine that you’re fronting a band and the band is playing behind you and you were playing guitar in front of them. Yeah. It sounds like that.I highly recommend that you watch some of the videos so that you can see how this feature works. It’s like nothing else I’ve ever seen and it’s amazing to play with. Hearing is absolutely believing. If you are technologically challenged, this might not be the set up for you. There is a very specific set of instructions that you need to follow in order to set these up so that you can play your guitar and also listen to music streaming from your phone to play along with. If you do not follow the instructions or if you get impatient you are going to get frustrated. That being said, it’s worth taking the time, reading the instructions carefully, and making sure that you set everything up correctly. That investment of time and effort will pay huge dividends because this set up is like nothing you’ve ever Heard short of actually playing in front of a band.I highly recommend this.

Another good product from BOSS
Best headphone guitar amp I've heard yet.

Life changing
I've been a 'hobbyist musician' for over 20 years. I mostly like to just learn and play along with records and do a bit of home recording. Over that time I've gone through my fair share of gear. After a few months of owning these headphones I can say hands down these are the most impactful piece of equipment on improving my playing. They just make it so much easier to practice any time or place and the sound quality is great. They made me want to practice ALL the time and of course, that's a great way to start a positive feedback loop of practicing more leading to improving faster leading to even more desire to practice. I wish I would've purchased when they first came out! The sound quality and experience brings you closer to your instrument, becoming more aware of getting good tone, articulation and limiting little mistakes (string noise etc). I might soon take the 'hobbyist' nomer out and just start considering myself a musician through and through, thanks to these. EXTREMELY highly recommended, definitely worth the money.

The sound is decent, very convenient
I bought these because my wife doesn’t like the loud amplifier playing every day. I was playing my electrics without an amp for a while. You all know how that works out. I bought these for the convenience of not having to get a few cords, plug in my headphones, turn on the amp and stay in one spot. I now just plug in the transmitter, turn on the phones, and Im ready to go. They actually do sound pretty good too, which surprised me. Like everyone else said in their reviews, the price is a bit steep ( for me it is anyway).

Battery Life Stinks!
While a great idea, battery life is crap, gives no indication of a low battery and just drops connection! 30 minutes MAX from a full charge that takes hours to complete. Nor does it work while a charging cable is connected so if you're looking for something for a serious practice session - look elsewhere!

Ready to go right out of the box
I have a 1979 strat made in the USA. I could not connect and found that the output jack was too shallow to activate the transmitter. I tightened the nut as well as I could but still had the same issue. I have a bunch of washers so I tried a 1/4" zinc one and that did the trick. Zinc is a great conductor. I just slip the washer onto the connector of the transmitter, plug it in and away I go. I did not want to do any permanent changes to my jack that would hurt the value of the guitar.

This is the best headphone practice device on the market.
This is the 3rd device I have bought. I avoided buying it before because of the cost. The problem is the cheaper ones sound like crap. This one sounds awesome. Lots of cool effects. It’s easy to balance the backing tracks with live guitar. Just awesome! You might as well save the money of trying cheaper ones so you don’t end up buying 3 like me.I first bought this at the big guitar store. It looked like the box had been opened and it was missing the cable and paperwork so is assumed it was a return. It kept disconnecting so I returned it. I ordered it again but this one from Amazon. After a couple hours I have yet to have any connectivity issues. If I do I think I would just tolerate it because there doesn’t seem to ge a good alternative.
