Perfect addition to the garden
This is a really sturdy seat. It came in 5 pieces and was easy to assemble. We cut out an area in our bushes to place it. With the side panels, this gives a little shelter from the wind. The seat is quite deep, so if you have short legs, you might struggle. It’s very comfortable. My 86 year old Dad loves to sit on it, but it becomes a bit hard. It was easy to source a cushion that fit the size of the seat, so that makes it even more comfortable. My only niggle is that the way the seat is fitted to the back, what looks like a shelf behind the seat, is where the two parts come together, but they dip in the middle so it’s not flat. We’ve put an extra piece of wood along that section so it’s easier to put a coffee cup (or glass of wine) down without it tipping over!! All in all, this is a must have for the garden.

Stunning!
Absolutely love my arbour. Carefully thought through design, especially for those who like to decorate it with solar lights, sun catchers, ornaments, cushions and throws. Feels really cosy to sit in under the roof and have privacy from overlooking neighbours. Worth every Penny and is a beautiful feature in our garden. Husband and son put it together fairly easily.

Could Be Easier
The first thing you realise is that there are no pre-drilled holes for the screws. So straight away you will need a drill with a long bit that will go through both thicknesses of wood, and you also have to line up the sides with the back the only way you can, which is according to the sloping of the roof. The instructions are vague as to the positioning of the screws and it's really up to you. Calculating the position of the seat screws requires some accurate measuring in order to hit the centre of the seat back. The seat itself only rests partially on its two supports and could be improved in future. The roof goes on easily and fits well. Overall, it's sturdy, rustic, with exposed screw heads needing tidying and a lot of knot holes.

Fantastic Arbour
Our garden arbour has become a beloved addition to our outdoor space. This particular one offers exceptional value and quality.Upon arrival, the arbour was partly assembled and arrived on a pallet. Assembling it requires a bit of effort, especially with the heavy roof section. It's a task best tackled with at least two people. However, once assembled, the arbour feels impressively sturdy and built to last. What sets this arbour apart is its solid, fully enclosed back. Unlike others with trellis-type backs, this one offers a wonderful sense of privacy, doubling as an effective windbreaker. During the damp winter months, we did encounter some mould growth on the wood, but a thorough cleaning with mould cleaner in the spring resolved the issue. Next winter, we plan to invest in a cover for added protection. One of the highlights is the opportunity for personalisation. We love adding little decorations to make it uniquely ours, adding a touch of personality to the garden.Overall, this arbour is a fantastic addition to any outdoor space. While it requires some effort for assembly and demands a bit of maintenance, its sturdiness, privacy, and potential for personalisation make it a worthwhile investment.

Exactly as expected. Solid, comfortable, stylish.
Delivery agent offered a choice of dates, and the driver phoned when he was on his way. He helped when we opened the package on the pallet. The arbour arrived in five pieces; back, two sides, bench and roof. All parts are heavy and well made. Needs at least two people to carry the parts and put them together. When assembled it is very sturdy, comfortable, and looks great. It also offers some shelter from the elements. I have ordered seat cushions and intend to paint the arbour later in Cuprinol Wild Thyme with a cream seat (having seen the finished article in another review on here).Overall delighted with the purchase.

Beautiful sturdy arbour
This is a really lovely arbour which I bought to replace my old one that was on it's last legs. It's very solid and well made. It took my husband and son-in-law less than an hour to assemble the structure. The instructions do say that there is a bit of DIY involved which includes drilling. However, my husband found if he made a small drill indent he could then use his drill bit to drive the screw into the wood without actually drilling holes beforehand. This saved a lot of time. It has had one coat of varnish in the pic but still needs another couple of coats, hence the cardboard underneath. All in all, we're very pleased with purchase.
