I just upgraded our work Windows PC to a Mac Mini M1 processor. The ports on this computer are limited, so using a USB C to DVI cable makes it genius to connect a monitor.This cable just works. Plug it in to the DVI port on your monitor and the USB C end into your computer. The MacMini auto detected and used the cable and monitor to boot up the computer. This product will easily work for any USB C Macbook or Mac desktop.I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. The cable material is a durable injection molded product. I don't expect there to be any issues if you were to constantly plug and unplug this cable. The cable is 6 ft, and is a much better option than using a USB C dongle. A good clean looking setup with no clutter.

I have a couple relatively ancient 22" HD monitors mounted above my garage worktable, handy for watching yeaux toob instructions for fixing things. The monitors have DVI and VGA inputs, the Surface has USB-C/TB5 external connections, so these cables easily allow it to push displays to the monitors. Handy, certainly inexpensive, they work for the assigned task. With a BT mouse and keyboard on an under-bench tray, makes for a decent workstation.

Good length and build quality, instant plug and play connection, allows laptop screen to display on an older model DVI monitor while closed, 4K speeds are very good, no delay, cursor moves without problem between monitor and laptop when using both screens, long-term durability remains to be determined; however, price to quality ratio appears quite good at present. Recommend.

I bought this cable to connect my laptop to my monitor without HDMI. I connected the monitor directly to my laptop and it worked perfectly. It seems to be the same resolution as using a regular DVI cable. I then tried connecting to the laptop through the multi-port dongle connected to a Dell XPS 13 in. That time I couldn’t get the laptop to recognize the monitor. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with my dongle or the cable. This cable is generally going to connect to older monitors so it’s probably best not to complicate things.

I just got a new laptop for my employeer and it got this new usb-c video port, that day i lost all my options to connect my DVI monitor, i only have DVI-HDMI cables on my house. I buy this one just to keep the option of using a second monitor at my house, was cheap, and had good reviews, was a no brainer. First, i was surprised when the cable arrived 1 week earlier, is not common that kind of speed to get something from amazon (i live in Colombia, South America, usually it takes more time), then i unboxed the cable (yes, it came in a pretty nice box for security and protection, nor a single bag with ziplock) and was amazex to find a pretty nice cable, it feels high quality, the connectors was pretty niice and i think it has some gold shower. The connection was without any issues and the image quality is great. The cable is not braided but iit feels very resistant and smooth at your hands, and the connector just stays in place. Is a very nice product.

I ordered the Upgrow USB-C to DVI cable & the USB-C to HDMI cable. I plugged them both into my Surface Dock 2 so I could use two monitors at the same time while also using my Surface Pro X or Surface Go 2 as a third screen. At first, the cables only worked if I plugged them directly into the Surface tablets, however I eventually discovered that you must plug them into the front USB-C ports of the Surface Dock in or for them to work. One I plugged them into the front, they worked flawlessly. That was all user error on my part, and no fault of the equipment. Not only did the cables work, they worked well. The images were clear and responsive. The only criticism I has is that I really wish the cables were made from braided nylon. I try to find braided nylon for all the cables that I use, however that simply was not an option for these. Hopefully, Upgrow will consider using braided nylon in their future products.

The product specs say this cable works with 2018-2021 iMacs so it was questionable whether it would work with my 2017 iMac. Plugged it into one of the USB-C ports on the iMac and the external monitor started working immediately.

First let me state that I rarely write reviews. This cable is clearly a cut above most cables in quality, period. This is the third USB-C DVI cable that I have purchased. All of them worked initially, but with the prior ones, all "Amazon Choice" by the way, the cable quality left a lot to be desired. The first one never really worked that well, if you moved the laptop, or touched the cable, the video signal would die. The second cable worked for about a month and then the same spotty signal started to occur whenever I moved or even touched the laptop. Finally the connection just quit working.This time I looked long and hard at the reviews and the quality of the cable. This cable has solid hard plastic at the USB-C connection end which the other's did not have. The hard plastic appears to prevent breaking the internal physical connection from the wire to the connector when/if it flexes whenever you move it. I am very happy with the purchase and rarely write reviews as I stated above, but had to this time since waiting for a cable to come is a pain, causes lost productivity , which in turn cost you money, if you use your computer to make a living.
