Nice piece of furniture
This is a great product! It wasn't too hard to assemble directions were precise. I installed and loaded it up today. I have the majority of my DVD and BluRay movies in it. Loaded to capacity it is very heavy so not sure how the plastic "lazy Susan" would have worked. Like many others I upgraded to the metal one for +- $13 dollars and I am glad I did. I know the seller states the plastic one they provide will suffice but I doubt it. The product would be even better if it came with a more sturdy Susan. Although this is a huge space saver, it does have a pretty big footprint but looks much better than taking up an entire wall. The construction seems to be good but it is particle board, so keep that in mind. I didn't do a count but it holds a lot of blu ray and dvds. No problems with shipping although the FedEx guy just threw it on the floor in front of my door. Luckily no parts were damaged. If you have a good amount of movies you need to store, buy it, you will not be disappointed. If you decide to upgrade to the 1000# lazy susan you will need a drill, and possibly a hammer to tap some of the pieces in for shelving. I didn't use one and it still worked out. You have to kinda twist them in. Most will not go in by just pushing with your fingers and that can start to hurt after a while.During the install I did connect the lazy susan to the base and the bottom shelf but if you have a lot of movies I doubt it would go anywhere. Take the extra precaution....The entire install less breaks and watching tv takes about an hour with the longest parting being installing the replacement lazy susan (if you have never done something like that before).

We bought two
Have one for CDs and one for dvds. Love these, easy to assemble. A bit pricey but definitely good quality. Fits our whole collection which is rather large .

Not bad at all!
Just received my tower, both packages, and put it together with nothing more than a Phillips screwdriver. It went up really quickly, since ultimately, except for the shelves themselves, the main frame is a grand total of 11 pieces of wood and a plastic lazy susan bit.The faux wood is... very faux, but the color isn't horrible, and from a distance you wouldn't know, but up close you can tell it's a picture of wood finish glued to pressboard. There's a "lip" on the left panels that DVDs end up slipping behind, so the first DVD on a fully-packed shelf isn't actually terrifically accessible -- you have to pull out the second DVD in order to give it room to come out. But that's a fairly minor issue (and not an issue at all if you leave room for a DVD or two on each shelf)The directions were simple & quick, but I did find two errors which are super easily corrected, since I was going for "DVD storage" instead of CD storage: The directions say to start by putting in a shelf in the middle, based on the "8th hole" (counting from the top) and recommends shelves on holes 2-4-6-8-10-12 for DVDs. This, however, creates two useless shelves in the middle. When I worked this out, I just refit the "starter shelf" into a different level and the tower came out with perfectly spaced shelves. The hole numbers worked out to: 2-4-7-9-11-13 to generate the 7 evenly-spaced rows as shown in the picture -- and there's no reason not to just "start" with the shelf on hole 7 or 9, and save yourself the trouble of relocating it.I've got about 2/3rds of mine filled with my DVDs now (I must've mis-estimated my collection when I ordered it -- guess I'll have to buy more!) and it spins nicely -- although already the mass of the DVDs makes it a little slow to spin, that's probably a good thing -- there's nothing to keep DVDs from flying off the shelves if you gave it a good Wheel-of-Fortune spin! Also, remember when you're figuring out where to put this, although the base is 24"x24", it spins! If you stick it near a wall, you need to allow some space for the unit to rotate! That space appears to work out to about 5" (24" * sqrt(2) / 2) -- so keep the base 6" from a wall and you should have no problem getting the unit to spin around without bumping a corner into your wall.

Very satisfied with this media tower.
The media could not be loaded. Been using for three months now. And did buy the metal 'lazy susan' but elected to use the plastic one anyways. I've loaded it up with about 250 steelbooks and 30 digibooks as well as a bunch of boxsets, big and small. And I have no problems with the plastic '....susan'.I'm very satisfied with this product......and fine with the plastic '....susan'. I was surprised. It works just fine. Very stable. I may get another one. Installation was very easy as well.

Love it
I absolutely love this stand. We had a total of 1,467 dvd’s cd’s and believe it or not a small amount of tapes. It was easy to put together. However the instructions could have been a little more clearer for putting the bottom two pieces together with the swivel circle thing in the middle with the bolt. However we figured it out. It has more than enough room and space for everything and we still have room left at the bottom of each side. It also spins around which is awesome. We all love it.
