Major Upgrade
These are AWESOME 👌, These are what should be on a truck. Installation was easy and are beefy, they make the front-end feel solid and steering seems a little more responsive, finding ball joints to replace these when they wear out will be easy to find. Some of the best money I spent on my Silverado

Major upgrade, Small things overlooked in R&D
7/16/2022 First of all. These are the best most well made and well engineered uppers available on the market at this time. HOWEVER, they do not play well with factory wheel offset. When turning to full lock they rub the tire against the wheel speed sensor/brake line bracket and the rim against the control arm. I had to modify the bracket some and now I'm in the market for negative offset larger diameter wheels. I looked into wheel spacers and its just not worth the risk. The upper ball joint does not fit through the steering knuckle without drilling it out just a bit (single step on the medium step bit worked great). I love the Idea of the removable upper ball joint, however the hardware supplied is slightly undersized to the wholes drilled. I will be upgrading hardware very soon. They do not give replacement ball joint part/interchange numbers with the instructions, IMO its because they want you to buy replacements from them. Same for the bushings. No assembly diagram included, but hey, they made sure to include their sticker. not trying to be negative, I really like this product. They ALMOST thought of everything. better than the rest.Update: almost 60,000miles on these with zero problems and these have been rock climbing in Arkansas. Still very pleased highly recommend!

Solid Upper Control Arms
November 2021:Installed these on my 2017 Silverado with a 2.5” level for the front. From my initial impressions, these upper control arms are built tough, definitely 10 times better than what came stock on these trucks. The warranty that comes with them is also very solid. Had zero issues installing these.Update May 2023:These upper control arms are still holding up strong after 18 months and 20,000 miles. I have kept up with greasing the bushings and ball joints, and have had zero issues. No squeaks, rattles, or tears. They’ve been through the Silverlake sand dunes in Michigan and couple times, and through a steel mill just about every day as this truck is my daily driver, hence all that built up dirt that refuses to come off.

Pay attention to backspacing.
They seem nice and stout, but they are just barely NOT compatible with 20" stock wheels. I have some wheel weights toward the back of the rim, and they rub at full lock. Otherwise, I think it might just work. A small spacer would probably fix it for me, but I really didn't want to go down that route. If you have a truck with the right wheels, you're probably good. If not, play it safe and go with something like the Cognitos. I would argue this might be a better product, if your truck is 100% compatible. Mine is just outside compatible, I guess. Just a little annoying at full lock.

Strong, well built, Fixed ball joint angles
I have a McGaughy's 7-9" lift set at 9" on a 2018 silverado 1500. The lift has a 7" drop crossmember. The rest of the lift on pre loading springs on lift struts. Basically a level lift which puts the ball joints at not the most desired angles. There are two ways to mount the ball joints on this Krpotonite Control arm. I chose below and you get more droop. Which actually gave me about a 1/4" more lift in the front. Ball joint angles are back to stock angles and the truck drives so much better. Bolt in ball joints wont ever pop out of control arms like pressed in ones! Alignment is a must after install!! Lifetime warranty!!!

Bushings were shot with 5 months of normal pavement driving
Kryptonite customer service is trash as well. I wouldn't recommend paying the price for these arms. Bushings are shot and squeaking already and they are a "wear and tear" part not warrantied at all. The GM I was dealing with was very rude and condescending when I was explaining the issues. The resolution we came up with was to buy new parts for these ucas.

Solid USA made quality parts
Installed these A-arms on my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 with 3.5" lift front coil over "struts". They fit great, and the (ordered separately) bolt kit was good quality also.I ordered these after ordering another cheaper, and made in China brand Did Not fit as advertised. I highly recommend spending the extra $ for these top quality USA parts! The bolt in removable ball joints are far better than the other brand A-arms non-removable pressed in units. And the Kryptonite no BS warranty is as solid as the A-arms. 100% satisfied with this purchase
