Nice and secure units
These light boxes worked great for install new pendent lights over our island. Were able to secure them to trusses in ceiling and they have ample room for wire connections

strong hold for my new outdoor fans
these support boxes were just the thing I needed when I installed two extra fans in my Florida Lanai. To my surprise they were the same support box that the contractor used to install the fan that came with the house . Easily screws from below with the hex bolts that comes with the unit. Easy to install the romex wiring from the top . I installed the fans with no shaking or wobbling pf the fans. They are made to install from below existing ceiling covering to a ceiling beam . Obviously wiring must be in place from above before installing the support box . I find no issues with these supports and if your not handy get an Electrician to do the work

Great Product! Roomy and strong
This did just what I needed. It allowed me to attach my hanging light directly from the ceiling beam and and provided more than enough space for wire and connections. This is much better that shallow boxes and much stronger that boxes that hang from the drywall.

Awesome attractive mount for deck fan
It is outside and visible a little over the fan. It looks the best i've seen and it plenty sturdy. We were very happy to fine and easy to install.

Unique and sturdy for mounting to a beam or ceiling stud.
I bought this to mount a ceiling fan on a 2" narrow aluminum beam in my screen room. After searching for some way to mount the fan that was visually acceptable, I came across this item. I was a little skeptical about it, but it was exactly what I needed. The included screws hold the box very securely and it is a very stable mount for the outdoor ceiling fan that I mounted to it. I like that you can run wiring to it from the top or either side. There is plenty of room on the side of the box for wiring and the shallow round side of the box has a very low profile so the fan sits very close to the beam, unlike if I used a side mount metal box, which probably wouldn't have passed the "wife test". I'm using wiremold through the top and it works well. I'm going to paint the mount and wiremold to match the dark bronze color of the screen supports and beams. I absolutely would recommend this product to anyone looking for a close side mount for a beam or stud.Just as an afterthought, I wish I would have painted it first before mounting it.... :-)
