Studied this and Lindeburg - General Engineering 3rd Edition for about 3-4 months. Took the exam late March. Passed. Got EIT Cert by early May.This booklet comes with 2 practice exams that prepare you well for the structure of the exam. Also, use it to practice your timing.Not to mention, a couple of problems from this pop up in the actual exam, or variations of them at least.The Lindeburg book is significantly more difficult, but, in result, over-prepares you for the exam. You’ll feel the confidence boost several questions in once you realize how simpler the exam questions are compared to the practice problems.Would highly recommend to use both of these resources simultaneously to pass the Industrial/Systems FE, hopefully, on your first try.P.S. Practice using your calculator and learn its shortcuts. It’ll save you tons of time!

Don't expect your actual FE exam to be 100% like this practice. I took the FE on June 27, 2022, and I looking back at the practice exam now, I can easily say that the practice exam from NCEES is 90% accurate format-wise and the actual content is 60% accurate.Note: ***The reason the content is 60% accurate is because the Practice exam is actually harder than the real FE exam. I HIGHLY recommend using this and another resource to broaden your knowledge of questions because the practice exam is by no means a 100% resource to one and done your FE exam.***FE Practice tip: Do 2 total pass throughs, 1st is to locate the formula (Want to spend less than 30s to find it digitally) and the 2nd pass through is to know how to apply the formula. As my professor once said "You can remember all the formulas you want, but if you don't know how to use it then you've wasted your time."FE tip: Once you do the practice, and its time for the actual FE, I recommend speeding through the problems you know and then coming back to do the ones you don't. Time is NOT on your side, so allocate all the time you can!!!

I really liked this practice exam because the format and the difficulty is similar to the actual exam. It has 100 questions while the actual exam has 110, so I used this to time myself (roughly over 2 minutes per question) and graded myself how well I did. I used this along with the Lindeburg FE civil review manual and practice exam and passed confidently! I would recommend this to students who are planning to take the FE civil exam.

Spent a week with the extra practice problems from Lindeburg then took this a few days before my FE CBT. It boosted my confidence and helped me grasp the basics. A lot of the problems weren't on there but the similar problems were the ones that used the basics.Great overall. Just make sure you attempt it timed and don't check till the very end so you will be familiar with the equation booklet.

This practice book really helped me in passing the FE exam. The flow and difficulty of the questions in this book are extremely similar to the questions given on the real test---- if anything the FE was easier than this practice test! Master the TI-36X Pro calculator and using the PDF of the reference manual and you will blast through the exam!!!
