Been on a low calorie, low carb diet for years without ever losing a pound. I did it because if I ate normally I would gain weight. A couple of times a year I might go out to eat for a birthday or other celebration. That usually meant a 1-2 lb weight gain which was nearly impossible to get rid of. Finally figured out it was hormones. I researched several products. I found this Calcium D-Glucarate plus Myo-Inositol worked best. I also use a progesterone cream 3 weeks a month. I've lost 16 lbs so far, just eating my regular low calorie low carb diet. I decided against Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C) because of the bad taste and smell and against DIM because of other bad side effects. I put them on the last resort list, but I never needed to go there. My hormones are coming into balance and I feel so much better in addition to the miraculous (for me) weight loss. I highly recommend this to women who have tried everything and can't lose the weight. It's not your fault if it's hormones. Try this and see if it works for you. To speed it up try adding the Myo-inositol and progesterone cream. This has worked for me after years of frustration. I was diagnosed with estrogen and progesterone positive breast cancer several years ago. I had surgery and radiation therapy but refused to go on the suggested aromatase inhibitor meds. I use natural supplements such as DIM to reduce any estrogen remaining in my already hysterectomized body (no ovaries). I apparently still have some circulating estrogen because my fibrocystic, dense breasts were still painful when doing my own breast exams. This was recommended by a naturopath who deals mainly with breast health. I took one pill in the morning and literally 3 days later I could squeeze my girls without one bit of pain! I had a breast exam by my oncologist yesterday and told her about this product and she is going to try it herself. She has pain like I did and it is exacerbated by coffee which she and I are not about to give up! I don’t feel the need to take more than 1 pill a day...taking the least amount for results I am happy with. I encourage anyone who has chosen to take a more natural approach to controlling estrogen....especially those who chose not to take aromatase inhibitor meds as part of their longer term cancer therapy. My tummy? I am happy with mine and perhaps it has helped in that arena as well. I am sold!

I use these to help my body detoxify toxins. They were great. I only use them in the morning. If I use them in the evening, they seem to make my sleep edgy.

As I understand it, this is a product is used for releasing detoxed estrogen. The estrogen is detoxed by DIM. I began taking it under a doctors care by a doctor who practices bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. I was diagnosed with estrogen dominance and this, along with DIM, was identified as a supplement that could help with that.I cannot recommend this product for anyone else, nor could I suggest you would have the results I’m having. It’s certainly not a quick fix! I’ve been taking the combo for over a year. In the last 2 months I’ve lost my craving for sweets and lost 15 pounds without a lot of effort, just eliminating sweets. For me, that’s nothing short of a miracle. I’ve gone through times of sweets being my primary form of “nutrition.” As a qualifier, I also use other supplements besides DIM and Calcium D-Glucarate. While I can’t be sure that these are what’s working, I know that estrogen that’s out of balance can cause sugar cravings.

I had been struggling with trying to find something to help with a period that seemed to be never ending. The cause was deemed to be fibroids in my uterus. Recommended a different version of this by my provider by BHRT. Estrone was way higher than estradiol. Taking one of these caps didn’t do anything but started 2 per evening and after a couple of months I am FINALLY seeing estrone decreasing. That’s the first time in a year! Also FSH went down to premenopausal levels. Will continue to use!

NOW supplements are very good quality, for a competitive price. My integrative doctor wants me to take DIM and Calcium D Glucarate to manage estrogen. I used to purchase Source Naturals, but they're ridiculously expensive and it's not as if I could tell a difference between products. I don't believe there IS a difference, and it would be very hard to prove.Anyway, I take this because my doctor wants me to, but in all honesty, I stopped using Calcium D Glucarate for about a year, and I personally didn't notice any difference in how I felt or looked. I'm on the thin side, but I know this supplement does nothing for my weight management; only diet and exercise have an impact. I know that several people have written that they've lost weight, but I'd take that information with a grain of salt.
