I bought this as part of a bug out bag/SHTF kit. I looked at other kits that were billed as 100 piece or 200 piece kits and they would count every Q-tip, cotton ball and alcohol swab as part of the 100 pieces. The Adventure Medical Kits were put together by doctors who understand the types of supplies you'll need in an emergency. The kits are fully arranged in a logical layout based on types of injury include books on administering first aid, they include major tools like Sam Splints and blood clot kits that are very useful. This kit tries to cover the vast majority of major injuries the you could deal with. I've never seen more complete kits than the Adventure Medical kits. They go far beyond the kits that only include alcohol pads and band aids. These kits have serious medical supplies that even a professional would find useful.

I don't have kids but I go camping often with friends and family that have lots of kids and adults that are a little crazy. I am always the best prepared when there are medical situations. I have this kit in my Sylvan Sport GO camper and another one in my car trunk. It has everything needed for those situations when people drink too much beer or the kids go a little fast down a hill.The smaller packs never seem to have everything needed for real-world problems. This one does not have that problem!

Actually pulled some of the gear out of this as I use it as a first aid kit for my motorcycle on group rides. Hopefully won't have to use it beyond handing out a band-aid here and there, but I have seen some accidents where things were pretty nasty. Definitely has whatever you might need, although truth be told I would like to see Adventure Medical start considering putting in a tourniquet of some type into their more advanced kits.

This kit is a campers saving grace in the event of an accident. Got it fast thanks to Amazon and took a few minutes to inventory the contents. Everything was there that is listed in others postings. Have not had to use it but feel better out with my family in the woods camping in case there is ever the need to.

Good selection of tools and supplies; quality of the tools not the best; I had to supplement it with some additional high-end supply, such as tourniquet and clotting sponges.

Lots of useful items that would take a lot of time and effort and expense to put together. A very good start to your emergency medical kit and a good price. Gotta start somewhere. This gets you going.

Love this kit, have it for home use and travel. Well organized and thought out. Very thorough.
