Overall I am very happy with this product. We have weird sized windows and I didn’t want to spend the money to buy custom window covers. This works great to block out majority of the light. We do have a little light peek through on the edges but not a huge deal. I am very happy with this product. Was pretty easy to hang up and I love that it is temporary. Would be great for a renters.

Worked great on my RV WINDOWS. No one can see in or out and best of all helps with heat

Though the product itself is great, I wish it came in a wider roll.My son is nosey and likes to look out his street facing window so I put this screen up to block out all view.It cools the room to protect it from the hot Florida heat and also helps make the room VERY dark even at the brightest time of day.

The Static Cling total blackout film is absolutely amazing! It does an outstanding job of blocking out 100% of the light, as you can see in the pics (LOL). Most of them are just pitch black, with the only traces of light around the edges, and that was due to my own cutting errors, not the product's fault.I'll admit, cutting it in a straight line was a bit tricky, mainly because I used regular handheld scissors on my bed and didn't have the best tools or surface for the job. However, the film itself is fantastic.This picture was taken around 3 pm on a sunny day, and you can't see a thing inside. The only tiny bit of light seeping through was from under my door into the hallway. This has been a game-changer, especially for my wife, who works night shifts as a nurse and needs to sleep during the day.I highly recommend this product, and I wouldn't hesitate to use it again if needed. It's been a total blackout success in our home!

Does NOT stick as advertised

Use scissors. Trying to cut this to shape with an xacto knife, razor blade, and regular knife did not work at all. Back material is very stretchy and does not puncture at all. Also almost impossible to peel off the plastic sheet. Otherwise stays on pretty well and blocks all light

This blackout film is so easy to install. Used it for a large, long window in bedroom that has traffic light shining through.Needed something for an apartment that can be removed. Best way to apply is measure and cut (as exact as possible) then spray soapy water on both the window & the film.

Ordered because I wanted to black out some windows in my bedroom.. washed the windows, prepped exactly as indicated and they fell off... total waste of time and money and since I cut it up and affixed, I can't even get my $$$ back. Move on find something different to use. Plus getting the contact paper off was a pain... Definitely do not recommend.
