These lights seem heavy duty and well constructed. I. Installed them about 3 weeks ago so I cannot speak to thier longevity. They come with clips attached to the electrical cords which makes them incredibly easy to hook into the main wires running to the transformer. They are REALLY bright. I was looking for bright and definitely got it with these lights. They are bright enough to light a pretty large tree and throw a very bright (a nice warm, not bluish) light on the house...my house is 2 story and I probably would buy lights that are not quite this bright next time. However I only put 4 on the front of the house (I already had two others) and this seems plenty....our house is almost 100 ft long and these 4 lights are lighting well over half of it. All you need is a transformer and wire and these lights will make your house beautiful at night... so little effort and money for such a beautiful end result. I wish all home projects were this easy! Note: updating this review a year later: These lights survived a New England year with snow and heavy rains. I had mentioned before that they bordered on being too bright but they are not...they’re great... definitely I love them and I am ordering 8 more of them to install around the rest of our property. The lights themselves show no signs of weathering, and look just as they did a year ago. I use with 100 ‘ of 12/2 wire and a Malibu transformer which was simple to install and set up and I have not touched it in a year. Another update: Of the 8 new lights I ordered...there were two with problems. I called Hykolity and got awesome customer service. When the troubleshooting they suggested did not work they promptly sent me a complete replacement set without me even returning the originals. The replacements are wonderful and I would highly recommend these lights and will certainly order more if I decide to do landscape lightting at my daughters house.

I bought these lights to replace some old lights on my entry walkway and tried to match the Craftsman style of the house entry light. While not an exact match, they are compatible and I think quite attractive, put out a lot of light and produce an interesting lighting pattern. They appear to be well-made and durable enough to withstand the weather for many years. Installation into my existing system was a little difficult, mainly to locate the old cable, remove the old lights, connect the new lights using the connectors provided, and wrap the connectors in electrical tape to try to prevent in-leakage when they are buried in an area subject to watering. Using the connectors is easier than cutting and splicing the cable but take quite a bit of force to penetrate the insulation of the old cable; I used grippers that worked fairly well. I'm still a little concerned that the electrical tape may not prevent leakage over time and allow the light to short out. Perhaps best of all was the low price, less than half of the alternate I was considering of a similar design.

I bought a set of these exactly 4 years ago and they are still going strong. No paint coming off or any issues at all. They are a great value and have a nice warm light. Just put an order for another set to fill in the rest of the yard.

Purchased in 2021. The lights are good quality and look great both on and off. Easy to install and setup. This year (2024) one of the lights went out. They are LED spots, so it's not easy, or even possible to replace a bulb. I contacted the company via email and after sending them a couple pictures of the spot light in question, they sent out a replacement. The whole process took less than a week. That is some great customer service, 3 years after purchase.

Just installed the lights and they work great! Am hoping they last a long time. The product gets 5 stars, but the support gets 3. One of the lights was missing the threads on the unit's sleeve that attaches to the stake, so I contacted support for a replacement unit. They were VERY quick to respond -- but unable to supply a replacement because they don't seem to stock single units in their "seller warehouse" (as opposed to their Amazon stock). The only support that could be offered was a $25 refund for the defective unit. So now I have to pay out of pocket extra money to get 4 lights when I really only need 1. A disappointing support strategy, in my opinion.To reiterate, the lights seem really great -- it's just the support shortcoming that knocked my review down from 5 stars to 4.

Wanted to wait a little while until we’ve had these going for some time and so far very happy. They threw a huge field of light or nicely made of metal, attach easily and have held up for a year, plus.
