Went camping right after the spare tire trash bag arrived. Hauled firewood in it, held up great. The only improvement for the price is an upgradted zipper. You just have to hold the upper and lower of the bag to get a good clean zip. The weight of the load did not impact the zipper thanks to the design of the bag. Adjusted the straps to fit on my 32 inch spare. I leave it on 24/7 no fading as yet! If something ever happens to this bag I will buy another one immediately.

For the price, I was pleased with the quality of the fabric. There are grommet drain holes where they should be - on the bottom. The zippered side compartments are convenient. I use this for storage of RV dumping hoses, fittings and accessories. Gloves go in the side pocket(s). There are no installation instructions. I attached the straps in an X pattern to my spare carrier and then used a large zip tie over the "X" and carrier as an added precaution. Have used it for about 250 miles with no problems. We had a storm and it seems very waterproof (except for the drain holes at the bottom of course). The straps and buckle seem wide enough. An improvement would be a better buckle/snap. It seems a bit light for this purpose. Even if I end up having to replace the buckles, this has been a good purchase for my purposes.UPDATE: The zipper design ends up collecting too much dust on backroads, making opening and closing it very difficult. The fabric has worn very well over a few seasons but I’m going to change to a strap closing system now. If this design had straps instead of zippers, it would be my first choice.

Have this over my truck tailgate for about half a year and hasn’t faded any thus far. Very good quality. Can easily spray it out to clean it and drys fast. Really pleased with purchase

Zipper broke off immediately day 1Thin material

This is a great product. Made heavy duty and has a heavy duty zipper. I love it.

Title says it all. I've used this for a roadtrip holding about 10lbs worth of stuff (tent and chairs) and it broke on the 3rd day out... I am a seasoned Camper and backpacker and own a Jeep Rubicon that I put this bag on.1. The straps do not tighten 100%,there is slight slack causing jerking motions which has torn the sewing on the bottom strap attachment to the bag.2. The side zipper broke, from regular use (I opened the side pocket about 15 times and it broke already).This thing is not well made, and it really let me down in the desert, I will avoid this brand in the future. Highly unrecommended.

only drawbacks were that the straps were a little short for the tires on our jeep (raised suspension + larger wheels) and that when driving, it slowly unzips, so we've drilled holes into the zipper tags, so we could lock them together when driving
