As with most things on Amazon, the amount of choices can be overwhelming and all of the conflicting reviews don't help. After a beach trip where my boyfriend and I had to walk a long distance to get to the beach while carrying all of our stuff, I decided I needed to get him a cooler backpack for his birthday.While on vacation he likes to drink beer most of the day lol, plus he prefers it in bottles so obviously the cooler backpack needed to be somewhat spacious. Having extra pockets for his phone, cigarettes, and a change of clothes was important also. Luckily, this cooler bag has all of that. There's an extra pocket on the top and another on the front, plus pouches and adjustable straps with clips on each side.He ended up using his new cooler bag while at the lake over Labor Day weekend, and it worked perfectly. I was concerned about it leaking everywhere after reading some of the reviews, but he used freezer packs and frozen water bottles to keep it cold (not ice), and he had no leaking the entire weekend. The only time I noticed any water coming out of it was at the end of the weekend when the bag had been knocked over on it's side, and a minimal amount of water came out of the zipper area at the top (which he had not fully closed). I think as long as you don't use straight ice to keep your bag cold and it stays upright, you shouldn't have to worry about leaking.Most importantly, did the cooler bag keep the drinks cold? YES! I kept a couple bottles of Gatorade inside of it throughout the entire day, and at the end of the night when I took one out for a drink (around 1 am), it was still cold!If something changes and I notice it leaking at a later date, I will adjust my review accordingly. But as of right now, I highly recommend this cooler bag, especially for the price! Delivery was also very fast, it arrived the next day.

The cooler is great! Tight zipper. Lots of pockets and space. I was looking for one to keep all my prepped meals with me throughout the day in hot and cold weather. The weathers been reletively cool since i got it but ive tried different ice packs with the cooler. The best wprking one is the tourit brand water filled ice packs. The ice packs themselves stay completely frozen and keep my stuff cold the entire day with no signs of even coming close to thawing. Other ice packs tend to start getting close to room temp by the end of the day

Read tons of reviews before giving this cooler a try. Good quality, construction and materials. Insulates very well! I packed in three cans of beer from the garage at 85 degrees. Used two, 10" frozen 48oz (colder than ice) Uline ice packs, sandwiching the beer. It's key using something similar for optimal performance. Used a digital laser thermometer for the readings. Left the cooler in the car in the torrid Florida sun (90+degrees) for 2 hours. Beer was cooled to 59 degrees. Left in my garage at 98 degrees, still 90 by morning. After 24 hours in the cooler, with car temp 90 degrees, the ice packs were 45 degrees, beer was a frosty 51. Enjoy!

The media could not be loaded. This icechest backpack is the most sturdiest one out there. I have had it for years and it still is working like a champion. We always take it to Vegas to keep our drinks stacked. We have taken it to the beach and day trips. There has been no.rips and we fill it up with drinks and ice. It doesn't leak even with real ice. It also has lots of convenient pockets. I love the color and the straps and zipper have been great as well. My brother bought a backpack different brand and the zipper ripped on his. He said I need to get your brand.

Lots of space. Keeps things cool. Great for a picnic or a kids sports event. Easy to carry.

Pockets are great size is great. But, I’m not sure if it’s the product itself or just the way Amazon packaged it, super annoying having a backpack that won’t stand up to see in the back or get anything out of it.Honestly ridiculous and will return.
