This immersion heater is works really well! I bought it as an easy way to warm up a swimming pool for my dog. It is a 100-gallon tank which I keep filled about 3/4 of the way to maintain and change water. it took slightly less than 2hours to warm up the water. it was the perfect temperature for my dog to swim. It even has a built in thermostat that will turn off the immersion heater once it hits the desired temperature. This will prevent damage to the container since it won’t allow the water or the immersion heater to get too hot.This is an excellent product for warming your pool, bathtub, or a bucket of water. you can just plug it in and you can take care of other stuff while waiting and it will get the job done. How easy is that? I highly recommend it if you seeking a water heater that is easy, fast, and durable. The major key is that you have to fully submerge it in the water and wait. If you are going to use it outside, you’ll need an extension cord unless you heat it indoors.

Got this for a 250-gallon church baptismal. I wasn't sure if it would work, but I am amazed about how well it worked. It took about 24 hours, with a circulating pump, to heat up 250 gallons, but it did the job.Very pleased!

Bought 2 both broke within few months Amazon would not take back

I only tested it once.Bought it for the boat ( redundancy to the on board hot water heater).Strong, aturdy, seems like it will pass the test of time. To my surprize Thermostat seems accurate too.

I live in AZ. Winter nights get to high 30's to mid 40's. I have high 50 - 60 gal shallow pond with gold fish and small waterfall over huge bolder. I set temp to ~65F and water was kept at that temp even on one night that dropped down to 25F. Fish swam all around it and I stuck my hands in the water while heater was on. It's been in the pond for nearly 2 months now and it's working great.
