Bought these MREs because I was curious about what they're like. Not cheap, because of the bulk, but they are 10 days worth of food (and more - 3,000 kcal per pack).Wasn't expecting haute cuisine, of course, but disappointed to find that everything was well beyond its best before date. For most of the food, it doesn't matter too much (packaging was intact), but things like nuts, tea and coffee, had all gone stale. You'd be happy to eat it in apocalyptic conditions, but not if you're just looking to satisfy your curiosity.Would've appreciated the description mentioning that these are old MREs clearly, so people know what to expect
