Awesome
*I'm not a knife expert; I just like to collect & learn about blades mostly...I was REALLY surprised/impressed at the size! I expected it to be more along the lines of my Tramatino Bolo machete; but this thing is MUCH bigger lol.Excellent design, like a Bolo.I don't know about the steel quality but I believe Imacasa is a good brand.I'll probably end up getting another one, maybe send one to one of kids that likes to hunt.

Decent for the price
Decent for the price. This thing is cheap but is made well enough for $20. The handle seems solid and the blade is flexible but not too thin, forward weighted so that you can get some force behind your swings. the cloth sheath is functional, glad it came with something. The edge needs some work as its dull in spots, shouldn't take me more then a few minutes to clean up. Not that you would want something like this to have a razors edge, its for chopping and wouldn't last long.I got this as I needed something long for ice/snow carving, it has worked just fine for that so far. I expect the blade to tarnish as its just carbon steel, but that should be expected.

Extremely cheap. Don't get it to cut anything, because it won't.
Do not purchase this, unless you're looking to get a very cheap paperweight or prop. The handle is something incredibly light and soft. It might be cheap pine or its Chinese equivalent. Because the handle is so light, the entire thing wants to pull right out of your hand, and the bolts look like they're going to split the wood in short order. It's also quite rough, and it looks like it was done on a belt sander in maybe 30 seconds. And of course it's unfinished, so it looks like cheap wood and it will accumulate dirt and dings quickly.Thankfully, none of that will be a problem, because it would be impossible to use this as an actual tool. The blade is made of cheap steel, stamped out by a press and then treated a 30-second pass on a grinder to put a slight bevel on it. There is nothing like an edge on it. The "edge" is just wishful thinking. At least this makes it a very safe blade, because you couldn't cut yourself on this if you had a week and a mule team. The cheap steel is also too soft to hold an edge, if you decide to put one on yourself. This is a hunk of cheap wood and steel in the vague shape of a blade. It is worth the money if you pay $5 or less.

I love this knife. I'm not going to use it for anything. I just wanted it so I could have it. I am pleased with my purchase.

2 star
In terms of steadiness it not good. Wanted a panga thou but it's not that strong. It broke after using it for a week. But it'd packaging and cover it's perfect.

Decent quality, generally well executed, but my example was sharp as a ball peen hammer
This machete appears to be made of a decent quality metal, it is very hard metal that is slow to sharpen with a Smith’s coarse stone! Suggest a grinder for initial sharpening because the edge has only been ground enough to appear sharpened! My examples edge was actually flat and was about as sharp as a ball peen hammer! Wooden handle is nicer than most, although it needs to be sanded down on the palm side or filled with wood filler due to the blade being seated below the wood and will wear on your hand quickly! I expect though, with some work this will end up being one of the best machetes I’ve had. I would but again!
