I have used this brand many times before. They have really nice lace. This is a nice, true dark brown color that can be used for many projects. It is thick enough to be sturdy but not so much as to be bulky. It is easy to use and handle. For the quality, it is a really good value.

The color is perfect. Easy to tie and the quality is excellent. Used to add a personal touch to a table setting.

I was expecting slightly better quality. The lace is durable enough but the color seems unnatural and really doesn't work for most projects.

Perfect size and consistency.

I make driftwood wind chimes and the leather is strong enough to hold 5 large to small driftwood logs

I was using the lace to wrap a hand-made knife handle. This requires that it be firmly wrapped (firm, not heavily stressed) on the tang. It performed well for some number of wraps, but then snapped at random intervals. I was able to accommodate the breaks using super glue, but the finished product was not cosmetically what I would have wished and diminished the knife's value. My prior order of the same material used for the same purpose did not exhibit this flaw.I will likely purchase the item again when this spool runs out. However, In the future though I will test the full length required for a particular application before applying it.
