I bought 12 and one had a leak in it when inflated. Overall a good product.
I have been using this product as well as the yellow ones for marking the 500m sprint kayak course for about 8 years. Typically the buoys are installed and used for 3 weeks and then stored in a covered trailer for the rest of the year. We normally replace about 10% each season.

Safety float for my Kayak Anchor
Added this to my anchor line on my Kayak. If for any reason my anchor gets stuck, I release my anchor line from my Kayak and and not loose my anchor

Versatile product
I bought this bouy to support my pool vacuum hose. I have a above ground pool 4.5 feet deep, and use a Zodiac pool vacuum. Positioning the bouy on the hose so that the Zodiac remains flat to the bottom of the pool greatly improves it's efficiency and as bonus, prevents the hose from tangling.

Served my purpose, but rotted in a few months.
I used this slalom buoy as a marker for one of my larger mooring bouys that was underwater due to high water levels in a freshwater, alpine lake. I just removed it yesterday, after 2 1/2 months in the water. 3/4 of the buoy looks absolutely perfect, but one section of the rubber was sticky like it had tree sap on it. I cleaned the sticky surface and found it covered in small cracks/fissures. It appears something was wrong with the rubber on this section of the buoy and it decomposed. Since the buoy was tied to a line, it should have moved constantly, such that no one section was consistently subjected to sunshine. While the price was right, I am not sure I would recommend these for an application that requires prolonged exposure to the elements. On the plus side, nobody ruined their propeller on my mooring buoy!

Red rubber balls...
I bought 2 of these to mark boat mooring posts, and they survived the summer in great shape! The size is great, as they're visible from boats but not so large so as to tempt people to steal them. I look forward to using them for several years to come.
