Career Highlight
Overall Kylie changes direction form her country inspired ‘Golden’ album and if you like that album like me, you’ll most certainly love this too, in fact even if you didn't like her last you’ll love this because its truly spectacular. Disco is one of my favourite genres and while Kylie has dabbled in it previously with the Album ‘Light years’ she hasn’t gone full Donna Summer like she does here, and well the result is a dance floor filing album full of to the brim of treasures. It is also Kylie's most cohesive album so don’t be put off by the long track length.Magic 7/10 A decent song but a little forgettable, pleasant but so far not grabbing my attention fully yet. Miss a thing 8/10 A bouncy, airy but pleasant song. Kylie dives straight into classic disco riffs seen on songs such as ‘Love hangover’ and ‘Don’t leave me this way’. It’s a nice track which gives us a better feel for the album than ‘Magic’ which comes as no surprise considering the previous track was the only to be produced by PhD. Real groove 9/10 a brilliant bubbly track which will get everyone moving, I can hear clear influences from Georgio Morder with the use of vocoder towards the end of the song, very fresh take on disco music and the first true ear wormMonday Blues 10/10 OMG what an instant love. Taking inspiration form disco songs like ‘Cuba’ we have Kylie remind us just what the weekend is amazing. Her chanting through the days of the week just to scream ‘It’s the weekend’ will get even the most boring person up on their feet. Namedropping the ‘Hustle too’ really clever production brings this loud, bombastic number to turnip the heat of the album. This song most definitely helps ‘Get me to the weekend’Supernova 10/10 One of my favourite sub genres of music is space disco and this cosmic inspired number is anther instant classic for me. Again the use of vocoder done to the perfect level, providing a mix of Boney M’s ‘Nightflight to venus’ mixed with classic Donna Summer style vocals. This is another masterclass in how to make disco music sound as current as anything you’ll find on the ever more stale charts.Say something 3/10 Oh dear, the only song I truly don’t like, bland, uninspired and why it was chosen as the lead single I will never know.Last Chance 10/10 Abba is that you? Kylie back on top form here, with a modern take on ‘Voulez Vous’ we have’ Last chance’ and ‘first dance’ pulsating in the chorus to what is obviously a little nod to the brilliant disco classic by Abba. But yet again Kylie covers it with her brilliant modern but classic disco style. Really this should have been the lead single in my view. I love it 8/10 - Good use of That classic disco notes, the ‘boom’ sound, the violins and string instruments, forget straight out of Compton, this is straight our of the late 70s, a really nice addition to the album, and i’m sure you can tell , I love it.Where does the DJ go? 10/10 Starts almost like a ballad but very quickly transforms into a dance floor smash, pulsating with ‘Survive’ ‘Gos’ and one of my favourite lines ‘Didn’t get all dressed up for nothing’.Dance Floor darling 9/10 A good song, name drops studio 54 and will be guaranteed to be stuck in your head for a week. I particularly like the change in tempo towards the end with a Donna Summer/Morder style guitar feature.Unstoppable 6/10 It a good song, just feels like the first song in a while to not really stand outCelebrate you 8/10 - a real grower, lovely lyrics and very much X/Aphrodite KylieTill you love Somebody 8/10 another grower, and again a sweet little number, vocals *slightly* off in parts but it doesn't detract from the song muchFine Wine 10/10 Donna Summer inspired ‘Beep Beeps’ , Striking a pose, and yes Kylie I would love to drink some ‘Fine wine’ at the ‘Bar , if it tastes as good as this song sounds. An instant love.Hey Lonely 9/10 Cute lyrics, and really sweet song. The lyrics ‘Hey lonely what your doing for the rest of your life’ is so adorable that you cant help but smile when you hear it.Spotlight 6/10 Last song falls a bit flat.Overall, a highlight for Kylies career.

The Goddess of Pop delivers another cracker
I have eagerly been Waiting for months and months for Kylie to release her 15th studio album Disco and now it's finally released😀😀😀and the wait as been truly worth waiting for what a utterly fantastic, Amazing album it really is such brillant Disco tracks to bop too which sound fresh with a hint of 70's, 80's 90's vibe. The tracks are uplifting which is what you expect from the Goddess of Pop and is very much needed in these very strange times we find ourselves living in. Highlights from this album for me is the seductive, sexy Miss A Thing Kylie's vocals sound gorgeous. Another is Real groove great bop which should be a contender for the next single. Supernova is such a galatic pop song that transports you onto Kylie's spaceship. Another favourite is the Abba like Last chance its the 2020 version of voulez-vous also you have the 70's vibe of I Love it and the brillant where does the DJ go another great bop.celebrate you is another great track which get's me emotional. Highly recommend this brillant album if you need Escapism and to be uplifted then this album is for you for sure which will get you dancing around your living room. Kylie has certainly saved 2020 .

Kylie Magic Again.
Kylie has grown into herself. Having grown up with her music Kylie deserves respect as to how she can change direction. Some will be crying out-Yes, but Madonna did the same, true, but Kylie has put her own definition to the themes that they have both shared and, as a result, very different. The songs of this album are very cleverly mastered, there's the pop kylie combined with the mature Kylie, but at the same time the music is current. There is indeed a disco flavour to the album, which is so refreshing and what we all need right now, just like a spoonful of medicine. I can imagine myself driving to this album on the motorway, windows down during a hot summers evening. There are certain tracks like Magic that will ring in your head even after you have stopped playing the track-let that be a warning to you all! haha. In all, a brilliant album that deserves critical recognition. Kylie is an icon in her own right. You won't be disappointed by the album.

Love love love this Kylie album.
What can I say? Kylie has knocked it out of the park once again with an album that is full of catchy tunes, uplifting beats and the sultry and sexy tones of Kylie singing in a way that has been loved by her fans for decades. This album I feel does sum up a new era for Kylie of bringing the beat back with almost 70s inspired disco tunes and make you want to dance. She really doesn’t disappoint on one song on this album. The artwork itself is beautiful, and Kylie of course looks stunning as always.I’d recommend this album for any Kylie fan, in my opinion whilst it doesn’t touch the 80s/80s era classics from her it is the best album in my opinion that she’s released this decade.A great album for parties and dancing.

Her Best album since Aphrodite. Pop Delicious!
I'm into light pop dancy music. So for the past 10 years I've been waiting for Kylie to create something like Disco! Being Creative and trying something new to be up to date in music style i'm okay... but sometimes it doesn't connect with the audience (at least me), everything depends on who you are working with. But this Disco album is right up my alley! I instantly fell in love with it! Do you believe that it was made during quarantine? It doesn't show at all. Thanks to technology, it's so easy to get hight quality made music these days. Thanks internet!Personally I am a performing Drag Queen for 23 years now and Kylie is the artist I have the most songs in my répertoire for a long time, now it's Annie Lennox/Eurythmics. My vibe is so Pop, playfull and happy. So Disco is a perfect match for me... and I was very happy that Amazon had the Deluxe Edition. Sorry I have to stop writing I have some lyrics to learn!!

KYLIE MINOGUE - Disco (Deluxe)
