Story is a great new version of Buffy, actual binding of book was rough.
Story:As a huge fan of Buffy, I’ve been very curious how a new “modern” version of the story would play out. I’ve also wondered about certain plots that I felt would have played out a smidge more differently if a live action budget wasn’t hindering the work. I really think this managed to both be faithful and a new fun twist. Xander’s new storyline especially is one of my favorites and I really enjoy the introduction to Spike and Dru. Really, my one complaint is I don’t like how Cordy is portray. While original Cordelia deserved way better than she got in the end, her overall growth from mean girl to the Cordy of Angel was my favorite, but to get there we had to start with a specific version of her. This seemed to just not want to portray her that way at all.Book:With the price of this book and how expensive the quality appeared, I was even more extra careful with it. However, that didn’t seem to matter. I made sure to hold book carefully, not lay it flat open, etc. And yet the pages in the middle of the book came out in big clumps of binding. I’m sure I just happened to get a bad batch out of all the books binded, but as I didn’t get around to reading this immediately, I was just out of the return period to reach out and get assistance. Makes it where I’m weary to reread to prevent further issues.

This issue is pretty interesting!!! The story really draws you in. I can wait to read what happens next to the Scooby gang.

Deceptive cover, not the actual one that is advertised, the real one has a white stripe with the logo on it, for meThe cover was a really mejor buying point so pretty dissapointed, however insiste content is all top notch category

Would love a kindle version too
Absolutely love this. Love the bonus stories: Frenemies and Conversations with (Hexing) Dead People. Hopefully those will be available through the kindle at some point too so I can have access to them through there too.The cover art gallery at the end is so awesome too. I love a lot of the different variants.
