The price of this straight edge is perfect. I do quite a few cylinder head jobs and finally decided on purchasing this instead of just dropping them off at the machine shop and hoping they tell me how warped they are. The quality seems to be good and it works as designed.

Not bad product for the price
Ok so this is light and straight enough for basic things but it is not as accurate as my stainless one. It would work well for head and block surfaces on a car if thats what you would want it for.

A really nice straightedge
This is a quality straightedge that will last you far longer than a lifetime if you take care of it and it doesn’t sprout legs and walk away like many of my quality tools have over the years. I purchased several in different lengths.

Used To Confirm Flatness of a Cylinder Head
Had to do a head gasket on an engine with an aluminum head, this negated all suspicion of a warped head and made for a super quick install.
