The best canned salmon has become difficult to find in stores, so I'm glad to find this via Amazon at a reasonable price. I like to have this delicious brand on hand for a few salmon dishes I make that actually are better with the canned product rather than fresh. A salmon and broccoli quiche, salmon croquettes... great ways to broaden the Salmon Horizons!

Makes great salmon patties

We purchased this when Sam's Club ran out for an extended period of time because we simply could not find another brand that was even close. We prefer Alaska wild caught salmon (much canned salmon is NOT Pacific based), and this fills all our "squares" including taste and quality. Period. It's a bit pricier than Sam's Club through Amazon, but otherwise worth is.One very unfortunate and inexcusable problem arose (for which I will not drop the product rating since it was not a quality issue) was that one 4-pack we ordered had CLEARLY been dropped from a considerable height, badly denting the bottom of one can. We considered it unsafe to eat due to possible breaching of the can. However, Amazon fully reimbursed us for that one can even though it was not eligible for return. Thank you Amazon!Still, the product inside the cans is as good or better than anything else we've ever found, and far superior to most.

My grandkids love when I fix fish and grits for breakfast. I have tried other brands, but this is our favorite.
