Great cable
It works well, it's nice and thin, and it reaches a little more than I thought it would. The only nitpick I have is that there are 3 separate labels all telling you the one side is for the TV/Monitor - but that's probably to try to deal with the folks who don't know how redmere works.

Good cable, but not for Phone to TV.
This cable is thin and lightweight. I purchased it for travel, when weight is critical. It worked fine with my Fire Stick, but would not connect my Samsung phone to TV from the HDMI adapter - this requires a thicker cable - the reason related by seller:"That cable uses an active chipset to boost the signal since the cable is so thin. In rare cases, devices like your phone can be incompatible with the active chipset."

Simply because the price is usually better and its just more convenient
These days there are very few things that I actually go to the store and buy. I mostly order things online. Simply because the price is usually better and its just more convenient. Cables are one of those things I usually go to the store and purchase so that I can physically see the cable that I am ordering. There are just so many manufacturers that produce different types of cables of different qualities and repackage and relabel them for specific retailers. You just never really know the level of quality you are getting from cables you order online. Its on of these hit and miss things. Some cables though. Especially conversion cables of a specific length. You just have to order online, because you will be hard pressed to find them in the stores. My point is that these cable matters cables are quality made for their price point. This is my second time purchasing them and you plug them in and forget about them they work so well. The wire terminals seem to be solid and the connection terminals themselves seem to be well made. I do like that these specific cables are fairly thin and cable matters ever has thinner cables in certain connections, called the Ultra Slim cables. So its nice to know where the brand of cables that I can purchase online with out having to worry about if they are good cables or not. Trying to drudge through the thousands and thousands of different cable brands online and look at reviews is just a head ache. I will still be purchasing my cables in the store for the most part, because cables are one of those things that I usually dont know I need right up until I need it, but when the need arises for me to order my cables online, Cable Matters will definitely be my go to.

Finally... The Best
I have bought numerous cables of all kinds and started to feel tired of thick, inflexible cables (any kind). For whatever reasons, HDMI cables especially tend to be thick and super inflexible.I had a long HDMI cable, but started to malfunction. I found this HDMI cable which sounded too good to be true since this is polar opposite of regular HDMI cables.I can't express enough how happy I am with this too good to be true HDMI cable. This usually sits on a tv stand, but does not get bulky; I can easily bring it to my couch to connect to iPad to watch and control videos from my iPad without having to go to the TV stand. This has improved quality of my life - it is simply the best!

Worked for awhile but then broke. Very lightweight and thin. Didn’t survive after ~4 months though.
I loved this cable at first, but sadly it stopped working after a few months of traveling with it. I don’t recommend this cable if you’re moving it around. If you’re setting it up once and leaving it it’s great. Just know that it won’t survive frequent movement. Cheers

Pefect Size - Many Issues, but I used Dongles | I don't trust it without backup options
I was taking an international trip, and I wanted a light long cable. I tried it once (before leaving), and it worked. However, I fought with it in multiple devices for 4 weeks abroad on a Samsung 70in UHD TV. I wish I'd had a traditional (passive non-directional) cable to compare it to.After about 4 days (of 30-60 minutes of fighting each day), I eventually just switched to screen streaming without a cable because the connection was so hard to get (and maintain) over time via the cable.Admitedly, I was using an Apple Brand Serial Port Dongle with an iPad 11 PRO, and I was using a Display-Port HDMI Adapter Dongle on a Microsoft Surface 3 pro. Maybe it was the dual chips fighting with each other. I know those dongles have dedicated chips in them... and I guess this cable does to. When I first tried it, it was on a PURE fullsized HDMI Direct out port to a pure HDMI in port (no dongles to convert Serial Ports, Display Ports, or Lightenting Ports to full size HDMI).I'm used to troubleshooting resolutions, frame rates, and connectivity issues. I tried things with different drivers, resolutions, and frame rats (29hz, 30hz, 59hz, 60hz 1080p, 2k and 4k). Even when I could get it to connect, it would sometimes stop after 10, 20 or 60 minutes.Personally, I don't trust the cable now. It might be my fault. I wish it worked. The size/gauge is perfect. However, I'm going to carry a bulkier, heavier, non-directional, passive cable to be certain that I can connect without issues in any circumstance.

Good quality feeling cable at a fair price
I own a Monoprice Select 28" 4K monitor and was running it on an HDMI cable from a HDMI 2.0 capable video card and thought I would get a Display Port cable to compare the quality and I can say that I am more happy with the Display Port cable over the HDMI cable. This Cable Matters cable worked out of the box and I am very happy with how the cable is constructed. I do not feel like it is flimsy and I do not see any reason to believe that the cable will split free of the boot which is something that I have seen with other cables in the past.I have read that people have had hit and miss luck with some Display Port cables working with their monitor but I am using this cable at maximum resolution and refresh rate and it has performed flawless.
