Love this drill set, and love the quality of Milwaukee tools
Haven't had this set long but I have used it several times already. This set is replacing an 24v Ridgid combo tools set that I've had for years. I was reluctant to move on from my Ridgid set because I loved the power that the 24volts had to offer but I had to make that decision because finding 24 volts batteries that would fit the tools set I had became next to non-existent. Once you find something with the power that is needed for any task you come across I didn't want to move on to anything weaker. After doing a lot of research I decided to go with this Milwaukee set. When I first open up the box and laid eyes on the drills, I was like wow this set is a lot more compact than the Ridgid set. I was thinking smaller/compact equals less power, but that anlogy is dead wrong when it comes to this drill set. The drill and impact is far faster in turning speed and the power is no comparison. Thebuild quality is excellent and the battery longevity per charger are night and day compared to the 24 volt Ridgid even when it was new. Another thing I love about the battery life is that it doesn't de-charge when sitting unused weeks at a time as my Ridgid batteries always did. I will admit that the price of Milwaukee tools will burn a hole in your pocket but I am a believer of buy quality products and Milwaukee has great quality tools. Another reason why I choose this Milwaukee set was that years ago I used a Milwaukee drill at work and that drill went through all kinds of abuse by everyone and it keep running. It was even left out in the rain several days at a time yet it kept on running. Eventually that drill was stolen and it was replaced with a Craftsman drill which didn't even last 4 months before it clocked out! So yes Milwaukee is crazy expensive but it is also crazy durable and outperforms it's competitors. I definitely recommend this set and recommend Milwaukee.

Impressive set of tools, excellent value.
Cordless tools have come a LONG way. I have been using these for various projects around the house for about 2 weeks now, and the batteries are still showing full. I did a lot of research before buying though, because DeWalt and Makita put out some really nice competing projects. Milwaukee pushed me over the edge with their impact driver, which has four power modes, low, medium, high, and a nice "self tapping screw" mode, that spins up RPM's gradually. It's really handy, for more than just self tapping screws. Another factor for choosing this set was the reputation of Milwaukee's "Sawzall", which I plan to buy. As of this writing, they've just released a brushless M18 FUEL version of the Sawzall, which looks pretty amazing. The final factor (over DeWalt anyway) was the hard carrying case. Dewalt gives you a soft bag, but I find hard cases to be a much better solution for storing and transporting tools in a "tight" contained way. Along the way I also considered the Ridgid set from Home Depot, but with prices like this on Amazon, you might as well go for a professional set. My only gripe so far is that I would prefer a brighter LED light, but this is very minor.

I own several 12v milwakee tools which i absolutely love. For the hammer drill and impact driver I ...
A Flawless and phenomenal drill set in every way . I'm a professional carpenter and woodworker, ive had most brands of drills over the years, and after several years of using a Hilti set I decided to get a new one before my old one breaks in the middle of a job. (Growing up, lol). I own several 12v milwakee tools which i absolutely love. For the hammer drill and impact driver I needed the power of the 18-volt. A colleague said I should nothing but Makita. Well I got the Makita set and returned it after one job because I hated it. I then researched different models of Milwaukee 18 volt and chose this one since it seemed ideal as far as price and what it has to offer. This is an excellent product from carrying case to battery life and everything in between. I can't get into the details of what you need to look for in a drill because there are many obvious reasons if you are a professional but also many are a matter of personal preference.I'm just saying this is a tight product, well worth the price (which is not the lowest) and a pleasure to work with.

Worth every penny, even if the price was $100 higher
If this is not the best drill/driver set on the market, it is tied for best. Power... tons of power, with seemingly endless runtime. Most of the time the drill/impact set are the first tools bought in a cordless system (you usually aren't buying one tool, you are buying into an entire system of tools and batteries) so usually people buy them with consideration of what other brands are offering and what they need. To this end:M18 Fuel is nothing short of pro quality. It is the best, and if not, it's tied for it. If this is the level of quality you need or like to have in your hand this is the drill you want. The impact driver in this set, (and every other M18 Fuel tool I have) has been nothing short of mind blowing as well.Money well spent, and I would consider it well spent if the cost was 100 more than what it is.

Legit Milwaukee!
The media could not be loaded. So I just made the switch from DeWalt to Milwaukee and purchased this product along with a lot of other Milwaukee products from Amazon due to them being very cost effective compared to Home Depot. I didn’t do my research before doing so and found out that people get fake counterfeits that look just like Milwaukee. Well, I did my research on the batteries and took these apart. I also did the light test where you press the indicator light and the leds should shine from left to right. Well, the batteries that came with my kit did just that. They are legit and also the tools seem to be legit as well! So far very pleased. Knocked off one star because I did receive the Milwaukee hard case pretty damaged where the clamp locks the case together. Will update this review if I run into any issues with any of the products I purchased. Oh and one other thing too is the warranty. Not sure how to figure the age of product but I’m sure it’s embedded in the serial number. Anyways, I read if the stuff you buy off Amazon breaks and you try to send it to Milwaukee they won’t always warranty it since Amazon isn’t an authorized dealer. You might get lucky though and they actually might. Not 100% sure.
