Works great with Yaesu VX-6R
Works perfectly with my Yaesu VX-6R. The speaker can be as laud as I need it to be and the microphone seems to be sensitive. Build quality is very high.

Used while ocean kayak fishing
Awesome mic. I used mine while kayak fishing in the ocean and intercostal. As you could imagine it was constantly getting slashed in rough water some days and never gave any issues. A friend had the same mic and rolled his kayak still no issues with his. Perfect size and doesn’t get in the way when clipped to a PFD. Highly recommend.

Nice compact speaker/mic
this was to replace my old speaker mic that broke. It works with both my vertex dmr and my vx-170, ft-3dr and ft-70dr. Good sound for a smaller speaker mic. If you want full rich audio buy the one that is a bigger size mic. This is good enough so you can hear it while on your belt and or just sitting in a chair. Nice not to have to hold radio to your face. You can hold the radio where it comes in best. Love the price.

Not a bad shoulder mic, but not great.
The mic transmits voice very clearly and is small enough to stay out of the way. Sadly, as you can see in the pic the connector broke. I received this May 4th and today is July 16. So not a long life. However I am notoriously hard on my mics and radios due to the nature of my job so I blame myself rather than anything else. I will say though that it appears that the connector is a weak spot in the construction. That aside, my only real issue with it is even at max volume on my radio, it was still hard to hear what was being said by the captain/crew at times. The shirt clip is a little weak in the spring and would cause the mic to slip off my shit often.In summary, the mic is good for its low price and small size. It’s no Motorola shoulder mic, but I can honestly say I would buy this again. It’s can be hard to hear received transmissions sometimes but sent transmissions are heard 5 by 5 (loud and clear) consistently.

Not very loud hard to hear but when transmitting they say it comes over very loud and the have to turn their radio down

Yaesu Quality
Works as intended. Fits my Ft-70D perfectly. Only complaint I have is I wish the plug was a right angle. The plug stick of it the radio significantly and gets in the way a lot.
