Fancy Contact Paper. 😂
This works great! I like that it’s able to be cut to any size. It sticks well, yet not TOO well that it doesn’t remove easily.)** I prefer using this instead of tape or Band-Aids for that reason alone — it’s wonderful for sensitive areas of the skin. I’ve experienced no adverse reactions to the adhesive. It holds up well in the shower but, sometimes, NOT through excessive body heat over the course of the day. (**I’ve noticed that it’ll melt to/stick to the skin and somewhat disintegrate — making it difficult to remove later. Rubbing alcohol seems to break-up the adhesive and help it to detach from the skin at that point.)I DO find it cumbersome to un-peel and apply, though. Unless you have good eyesight, lots of patience and a longer fingernail to use in separating the plastic/vinyl layers, it’s nearly impossible to get to the flimsy, ‘sticky’ layer! It DOES take lots of practice to get the hang of and I would suggest practicing with this stuff BEFORE its usage becomes necessary around a wound. For even somewhat difficult-to-reach areas, another pair of hands are highly recommended. As it is my first time ever using this stuff (and my first few applications bombed) and there were no clear directions included with the roll, I asked fellow Amazon shoppers to offer some guidance… Basically, ‘trial-and-error’ and ‘patience/practice’ were the responses I received. However, the best advice offered was to remove the white layer FIRST, apply the adhesive side to the wound or bandage, THEN peel-off the clear layer. That tip alone made it so much easier to do!UPDATE :I have finally gotten the hang of this stuff and must say: it works great and is so versatile! I only used it as a full bandage cover for about a week. After that, I cut off 2” strips and then cut those in half. I used the smaller pieces to secure each side of my padded wound cover (made my own band-aid). They had enough ‘sticky’ to keep the gauze pad secured for over 24 hours. Unlike adhesive bandages and medical tape, this caused no adverse skin reactions on my sensitive skin. (Oftentimes, I’d wind up with a WORSE condition than the one I was covering if I used those things.)Because of its versatility, I will be buying different sizes to keep in my first-aid kits!Suggestion, though: don’t do as I did and trim ALL of your fingernails short! While you’re needing to use this film, keep at least ONE peeling fingernail longer for easier application.

Flexible, comfortable and waterproof.
Great product, nice width, I can cut the length to fit my needs. I use it to protect my G7 medical sensor from being pulled loose. It has held in place for 10 days without so much as an edge coming loose. Very comfortable, moves with my skin. Waterproof, survived the gym workouts and pool.

Totally recommend this is a great product
Highly recommend this brand. Much cheaper than brand name stays on longer and more securely than the brand. Does not allow liquids to get to the wound and does not take any skin off when you remove. The fact that it comes not only in squares but in a roll that you can cut to fit is awesome. It did take me a hot second to figure out how to get the backing off. But there is a small strip that has a slit to separate between the small strip and big strip that you have on the edge. You kinda gotta bend it up to find. Once I figured that out we were golden. I was getting a bit frustrated at first.

Great product but difficult to figure out how to apply
I just had surgery about a week ago and finally had my drain removed. I'm a bath girl not a shower girl... but I took shower until this product came in. I applied it over all of my bandaging and stitches and took a short bath. They stayed completely dry! Had i stayed in a long time I'm sure it would have worked it's way off or not stay sealed so I didn't push it. I wish it came with instructions on how to apply it with the roll. That's the only reason for the 4 stars. It worked for me once I figured out how to apply it.

This works great and keeps your Band-Aids dry. You can take showers or go swimming with it on without anything getting wet

Amazing for tattoos
One of my biggest pet peeves is people leaving bad reviews when the negative things that happen are possibly things they did wrong or something that could possibly be on them. I totally get what everyone is saying about the peeling and the bumps and the redness but here's the gist. You do it wrong - it's not going to work. Make sure you clean around the area and make sure it's DRY around the tat. Otherwise it WILL NOT STICK.Your skin MIGHT react to a chemical in the plastic which could cause an infection. There's NO way to know whether that will happen or not. If you used Saniderm and didn't react, and used this and reacted, that's because you're not using SANIDERM. It's possible the chemicals are different or the plastic is different or whatever. I'm not a scientist. But don't bag on the product because you have sensitive skin.I've used it on all my tats. My leg tattoo reacted poorly to the plastic and it didn't go well. I iced it and put Aquaphor on it and it's fine now. I still used it again and guess what??? It worked fine everywhere else!It won't be the same for everyone. But as you can see in my images, the plastic is nice and tight on my arms. great breathability and I've had them on for 3 days now. No more redness; they're healing great! When I had it on other tattoos and removed it, there is definitely a residue. If you wash it off, you risk washing the ink off your tattoo.. Let it bug you for a bit. It's not that big of a deal. It's a bit rough to take off because it sticks so well. The corners may peal back a little so make sure to give it room. Also, the top layer will ALWAYS come off. It's your skin pushing out the ink from the initial work being done, not your actual tattoo. If you leave it on for 3-5 days, it helps with the healing.Hope this helps! It's def a good value!
