Excellent product. I use it in my smoothies and it's great. You will get used to the taste just stick with it. Cheaper by the pound and getting more the dulse in my drinks than purchasing the Organic Detox Smoothie Powder which was alot more expensive. I also purchased Vimergy Spirulina and Barley Grass powders (17.5 oz) which were again cheaper than the Detox Powder. I highly recommend Maine Coast Sea Vegetables. Will definitely keep buying from them. UPDATE: Still using in my smoothies and a year and a half later I am so much healthier. No more rashes or scabs/sores on scalp, eyes in better condition, fungus on toes gone, finger nails in better condition, gut health is in great shape after having serious digestive problems. Just all around good for your body.

This is really great Kelp, so great it tastes like I just pulled it from the ocean and popped some right in my mouth. It’s incredibly strong. I followed the advice of another reviewer and mixed it with water in a 1:1 ratio to form little kelp pills. These were deceptively easy to swallow, and I could barely taste anything. I then made the fatal mistake of adding the powder straight into a smoothie. I thought I was going to die drinking it, but I managed to force it down. There are no berries, nuts, or protein powder on the face of the earth that are strong enough to mask this flavor in a smoothie- don’t do it. I think that goes to show that this is a concentrated, pure, undiluted product. I like having another source of Iodine in addition to Iodoral, so I will purchase again.

I am 93 years old; began using Maine kelp in the early 2000's. I was in my early 70's and over the years my bones and my whole body has benefited for the minerals the body has been given. Even today, if I fall I know my bones will not break. In fact I have fallen and nothing happened. I highly recommend this product as it maintains health and longevity.

Good to make capsules for vitamins and minerals.

This stuff tastes like swamp water. I cannot imagine using it for "flavoring" unless you are from the remote regions of Florida's everglades. BUT, it is worth its weight in gold to me. It makes me feel energized, healthy, younger, and strong. I noticed a difference the first day. I will hold my breath and drink down a 6 oz. glass of water and juice with a heaping teaspoon stirred in every morning.

I love it because it doesn't come from Japan. It comes from the Atlantic Ocean where there is no radiation yet flooding the waters like from Fukishima. The media is owned by 6 giant corporations and the government. They're down playing the s*** out of the situation. The media is extremely biased and rich, so they don't care about us, they just want our money. And if we get sick they get more money. Don't let that happen by staying ignorant. Buy this with the understanding that there's still heavy metals in it and so taking something else like clay and cilantro to help with removal would be safer. Look into radiation if you have no clue why heavy metals aren't as dangerous as it. And for the record every second, day, year the oceans are significantly more polluted than before. Please be aware and informed. I would be informed about spirulina/chlorella as well. Especially as to specifically WHERE it's harvested from. I was looking into a safe source and the first thing I stumbled upon was Dr. Mercola. Not sure of the validity yet just stating where I'm currently at myself since we are all learning everyday (I hope) and life is a journey of wisdom and healing. I'm gona continue on source checking. Oh and as far as taste of this product, I have no clue! I don't care about the tastes of things.

I am really disappointed that this product holds the California warning for chemicals exposure. I did not see this warning on the package until I received it today. Unfortunately the seller does not accept returns.Edit: If anyone wants this product- it’s untouched. If you pay for shipping. I will send it to you.

Really healthy product. But the taste is terrible. So I got empty capsules and scooped it inside them for swallowing. So much easier to take.
