My cat loves this scratching post and is taller and is light. You don't need alot to build it and comes with everything you need. Great value for money with the build quality and being sturdy.

Not expensive and does the job . Our cat has shredded six or seven in the last four years but this one is holding up well . The base is quite lightweight so can be unstable. Overall a great buy .

This product is ok, easy to put together, not as sturdy as the last scratch pole I bought which was very similar. Cat wasn’t keen at first, had trouble getting his claws into it but is getting used to it.

It's good and sturdy, has to be, as my cat really does attack it and a good height.

Nice weight and balance, doesn't look out of place in any room with it's easy on the eye colour. Nice to have choice of regular or large size with it's easy assembly. Great functional choice for cat to play ball or use the post for scratching to avoid damage to your furniture and assists with their paw grooming. My cat went up to it and used it assoon as I assembled it.

Really pleased with the quality of this cat post. The rope is very tough and has not frayed too much after two months of daily use by my cat. My previous cat posts would fray very quickly as the rope was cheap but I can see this one lasting a very long time. The photo shows the condition now two months after buying.The post comes in two parts and my cat scratches the top part most, so when that one gets worn out I can just swap the two parts around.Only thing that would have made it better is the poles being a little wider, but other than that’s it’s perfect.I shove the base under the leg of my couch to keep it in place otherwise it would fall over as with any scratch post.

I bought this in July, the base is in 2 halves and broke by the end of October. It states the base is sturdy enough, it isn't, I have a small 3kg cat. This is not fit for purpose and I want a full refund.Don't buy.
