Note: I purchased this RC vehicle through my wife's account, so she is not responsible for this review.This is a really great RC vehicle. It is very solidly built, and thanks to being true 4wd, it is capable of crawling around on, and over, surfaces that sometimes cause problems for larger vehicles which only have 2wd or pseudo 4wd.I have put a small FPV camera on it, and use it to, "explore," at our local park. It is like being able to off-road from a park bench. The only real drawback is it has a shorter control range than I would like. Maybe a few hundred feet (~100 meters).That said, having opened it up to take a look at the insides, the motors use standard connectors, and it would probably be easy to swap in a hobby grade receiver module like FRSky. I do have an OpenTX radio, but haven't checked yet to see if it uses a standard protocol. The antenna on the receiver is a wire, and seems cut to length, but I'm guessing the TX might have a board mounted trace antenna.For the price, though, I am okay with it being what it is, which is why I haven't tinkered with it more than adding the little all-in-one FPV camera. Great fun for a great price. I love it. My kids love it. My wife even plays with it sometimes.

The DoDoeleph Remote Control Truck is a thrilling Christmas or Birthday gift for any young adventurer. The RC car is not only extremely neat but also super easy to figure out, making it perfect for kids. However, my only dissatisfaction is that it could be a bit more durable. While the excitement was off the charts, I found myself wishing it could withstand a bit more rough play. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic toy for some off-road electric fun! My only advice would be if you are looking something a bit more durable, you may want to spend a little bit more money so it will last.

Fun RC Car for my 7 year old nephew. Kids are amazing with the tech stuff. He had the car doing all the stunts in less than 5 minutes! It has various lights that makes it fun in the dark. Battery lasted longer than expected. It does come with 2 spares so there's always one ready to go. It is a pain in the a.. to change the battery with a tiny Phillips screwdriver. They do provide that. All in all it's quality RC car for a great price.

I admit that my rear suspension broke due to a tumble (slow speed fall) down our carpeted stairs. For $20 I shouldn't expect rugged. Thankfully I was able to repair it with superglue. The control is kind of annoying as the front wheels don't turn like a traditional RC car or real car. Still neat and you can learn the controls to a point where it's definitely navigable. Never had issues with connection between controller and unit, controller is very basic and like a kids toy from the 90s, but works.Lights are just kind of there in the chassis. But they produce a neat effect, especially in the dark.

We got these for my 3 year old twin boys for Christmas. We've bought other RC cars/trucks and have not been happy with the result. We wanted something age appropriate that they could enjoy but not destroy, as 3 year olds do. So far so good! They don't go super fast like most Rc cars but still have some speed. Other RC cars are so fast the kids have a hard time controlling where they go, so having the slightly slower speed is nice because they can actually control what it's doing. I also love that there are three batteries per truck, so it's endless fun instead of having to play for 20 minutes and wait hours to charge. All around great product!

The toy is great, and works as expected, but the batteries are a pain to remove from the car in order to recharge. As a result even though we have had this toy for a year, my kids have hardly played with it. I would not recommend this as it would be wasted.

This remote control car is pretty neat! It drives all directions, even sideways. The kids love it and it's very easy to control. It comes with two rechargeable batteries so you don't have to feed it batteries all the time and you get longer play time. The full metal frame makes it very durable as well. It even has a demo mode that makes it dance all over the floor. Very cool!

What an amazing RC car! It’s easy to drive, it lights up, it has awesome features like sideways driving, and rechargeable batteries that last! The battery compartment has an added safety feature that requires a mini screwdriver (included) to be able to open and close the compartment - so you can have peace of mind having the car around younger kids. Overall extremely satisfied with my purchase, my son loves it and plays with it all day long, and I would consider buying this as a gift for other RC enthusiasts in my life!
