I watched a YouTube instructional video and decided to give it a shot. For the cost of this battery, it was way better than paying for a new speaker. I have a Megaboom 3 that’s a couple years old. It was dying within 15-20 minutes after maxing the volume out. With this battery, it lasts for hours again. The only technical issue is it flashes low battery ALOT when it’s at 60%-90% but whatever. You will void a warranty replacing the battery yourself so if your within warranty range, keep that in mind.

I finally was able to replace my battery for my UE megaboom speaker with this battery. It was really easy. Now I can hear the music again and it's wonderful. Love the fact that I was able to do it on my own.

garbage do not buy this it won't last !!!!!!!! it will not hold a charge any longer and now is worse than the one I took out. FML

Definitely look up a YouTube or I fixit video on how to replace the battery. The speaker is really not made to be taken apart and put back. Just be careful when taking the parts off. Other than that, it's perfect for bringing an older speaker back to life. Just don't think it will still be waterproof afterwards. Mine looks pretty good after. Just a few nicks in the grill.

It holds a charge effectively, keeping my speaker running for extended periods without trouble.One crucial tip for users is to perform a calibration when installing the new battery. Charging it to 100%, allowing it to discharge completely, then leaving it plugged in overnight ensures accurate battery percentage detection by the speaker's circuitry.It was super easy to dissamble the speaker just be careful with the gasket, and forget about putting your speaker in the water after this replacement, at least I wont even try to do it.Overall, I'm satisfied with the performance of this replacement battery. It may not be identical to the OEM option, but it gets the job done reliably, keeping my UE MegaBoom up and running for extended listening sessions.

Bought this battery for my UE Megaboom speaker. It came with a plastic tool to pry apart the speaker gently. Battery replacement was easy and, most importantly, worked, and I am again enjoying my UE boom.

This was my first time buying a replacement battery for my speaker after almost 10 years of having it and I am glad that I did! My speaker now lasts forever going a full day without needing a charge and perfect for events with friends! Cannot wait to continue to use it and if needed in the future buy another replacement!
