Title says it all. Thought this was the same as my previous Mueller ankle support but it is not. The part that goes over the top of the foot is one piece, very tight, and has to be pulled over the foot. Very uncomfortable to wear. On the previous model, the part that goes over the top of the foot iwas split and hence was much easier to put on or remove and the user could adjust the tightness.

Brace supports ankel well

I read the reviews that said it was too small for many, I wear size 6 and have narrow feet so this slipped on over thick sock with no problem. I did have to get the hang of wrapping the straps as it was too tight at first. I'm wearing Mueller wraps on both healing broken ankles as I have moved on from air boots. The L ankle was worse break so I'm wearing brace with stays on both sides. R wasn't as bad so bought this as a little security. I'm not sure if it fits in my regular shoes, had to buy boys size 6 to fit the brace with stays, but it appears slim enough to do so. The L ankle is much more secure feeling than the R. This brace is just mild reinforcement.

The one thing I didn’t like about this ankle brace is that you have to slip your foot in like a sock, which is if your ankle hurts is hard to do because it is really tight. I like this brand though in the previous model, you did not have to do this.

I was able to get it on, but not easily. I wear an 11E or EE and have a high instep. It was way too tight around my foot to wear for very long, so relatively useless.

This is a good ankle brace but it is a little hard to slip it on your foot. If the foot or ankle is very painful, it would really hurt to force your foot into it. Still, in my case where the problem was not too painful and the brace helped a lot.

I very much like the support this brace offered, HOWEVER, I wear a women's size 9/9.5 and have a narrower than average and wider than narrow foot. While the length of this brace, and it's straps were good, the foot wrap portion was too tight. I wore it for a couple hours and not only did the seams leave marks on my foot, it was very uncomfortable.I'm very disappointed as I have successfully used the older style for several years and was hoping this one would be even better.
