I had a hip replacement a few months back. My wife was having difficulty with the compression stockings. The sock tube is the best ! I used the hook rod to help get dressed, didn’t need my wife to help me with my underwear ; ). The bath sponge helped washing my lower limbs and back. Long shoe horn- I’m still using for my everyday shoes. I highly recommend this kit for anyone who is getting or has had a hip replacement.

Nice collection. My main reason for buying this was for the sock applicator. The one I got does not have a foam patch to stop the stocking from slipping off. I wish it was like the one in the photo. The other items are fine.

Everything in this kit is really helpful for giving me independence to dress myself the first week after hip replacement surgery. I didn’t particularly care for the contour sponge (prefer my shower brush), but the dressing stick is really helpful. The reacher in this kit is better than the one I used 4 years ago that came with rubber cups for grabbing things. I tried the sock aid today with ankle socks and it worked perfectly. This kit did not include a leg assist for getting into bed, but I just use my bathrobe belt instead. The price is very reasonable.

This product should definitely be ordered if you are having hip replacement surgery, I found it very helpful.

This is a must, kit for someone with hip replacement. It has everything needed to help with being independent.

You get what you pay for. The bath sponge is weak and you almost have to hold it with your hand to scrub properly. Also, the handle is a bit long IMHO. The sock helper is just so/so...I've seen better since I bought. Hopefully I'll need only temporarily but if I need for a longer period of time I'll buy something else.
