2K (2-Component) In a Can means that one SAMURAI KUROBUSHI aerosol can contains two components to create a product that is a mixture with the right ratio of them. How this works is that the resin of the protective coating is mixed with a hardener. Practice 2 in 1 concept (mix hardener and resin) in an aerosol can - • When these two s are mixed together, the reaction will cause the mixed paint to solidify over a short period of time. This makes a 2K coating more durable than the conventional 1K due to the former being a lot less susceptible to damage from s, weather, or UV rays. Important information- Ø 2K can needs to be activated - follow 2K activation instruction properly. Ø Pot Life- After activation product should to be used within 4 hours. Ø No. of coats – 2 to 3 coats Ø Spray at a distance of 8 to 15 from the surface Ø Intercoat – 10 to 15 minutes Ø Touch dry – 35 minutes Ø Dry to sand – Sanding can be done after 1 to 2 hours depending upon the weather conditions & sunshine. Ø Coverage per 400ml can– 1sqm to 3sqm depending upon the skill of the painter and coating thickness of each layer.
