Excellent quality, will last for years and they clean up beautifully every time. Heats up quickly and evenly, add enough oil or butter to keep from sticking. They are heavier than the cheap nonstick set I had but the quality is much better. Cleaning tip, get some Bar Keepers Helper cleanser. It works on stainless steel sink as well without the bleach.

Highly recommended. Discarded everything that was non-stick, this is a great cookware, and most importantlySafe.

I ended up with these after much research and back and forth regarding sets of pots and pans. I wanted a stainless option after realizing non-stick pans can be toxic...even my gorgeous GreenPan set :(. I was looking at All Clad and ultimately went with this set. They are pretty heavy but sturdy, have a nice look, and the handles aren't uncomfortable (I'd read reviews that the All Clad handles were awkward/not ergonomic). I was really wanting a set that you came with a lid for the fry pans and was kind of bummed that this didn't picture that buuuuut....bonus! The lids fit both the frying pans. They're stainless instead of glass, but it's easy enough to just peak underneath the lid to check on your food.Overall I'm extremely happy with these pans. There's a bit of a learning curve when using stainless since you have to heat the pan and make it non-stick. Since this set is 5 ply, they're a bit thicker and therefore take a few minutes longer to pre-heat but it's not a big deal.

The pots themselves are awesome, very well made. I wish the lids were a slightly heavier gauge, especially the larger sizes (minor complaint). For 5 ply pots, the price point can't be beat. When buying sets, the cost of each pot is significantly reduced. This set didn't include all of the sizes I wanted, so I added a few, buying them individually. This is where the KitchenAid affordability shines. The price point for individual pots compared to other 5 ply brands is much more affordable when adding to the set.

Heats evenly and looks great.

Unable to clean - I used the big pot once to make soup. I have now washed it three times and there is still something stuck to the side that doesn't come clean. Nothing that was cooked should have caused that - especially stainless steel pots. Also the sides keep beading up like there is an oil coating that won't wash off. These may go to goodwill where someone may be more desperate for cookware.

I purchased a new stove, and induction model. I thought my old pans would work, wrong! So after search the web, reading reviews. I decided on this set. I'm happy with them, over all, but have to say. They are very well made, not flimsy at all. A little on the heavy side, the handles are very nice, but a little small for my large hands. What I have cooked in them as turned out well, and they have cleaned up well. I also wish they had glass covers. They are great, the problems or concerns I have mentioned are more my issues, not the set. And probably more of a learning curve for me.

My wife absolutely loves this KitchenAid 5-Ply Stainless Steel Cookware set! It heats up very quickly and evenly and is easy to clean. We did buy a cleaning polish to help with very stubborn burned on food/stains, and it works great with this set. We plan to keep it for years to come! We bought this set to replace a nonstick cookware set that we have had for 5 years; unfortunately, nonstick sets only last so long before the coating starts to give-way to age.
