At first I thought this was great. It’s was installed in our second bathroom so not used like our main toilet. Just over a year and it has broken. I would not recommend

I took a gamble with this because I needed a new macerator quickly and this one was available on Prime but had no reviews yet. In my rush I failed to notice that it discharges to the left where my previous two units discharged to the right where my waste pipe goes. This is an important thing to notice!Also pay attention to the instructions which are a little sparse but one thing I ignored was the line that said you have to have 0.5m to the first bend. I foolishly ignored that and carefully fed the pipe back across the top of the unit. When it came to testing it promptly blew the pipe off and showered me and the garage with cold:but fortunately clean, water. And because I didn't think to quickly turn it off it did the same again 30 seconds later!As you can see in the photo it now travels 0.5m up before turning right. This could be an issue if you are installing in a confined space.Now working efficiently this is quite a good unit that does what's asked of it and is currently happily discharging a toilet and a shower so why doesn't it get five stars?First up, it doesn't have a manual discharge button which although you may never use it is very useful for testing ig you have any problems and secondly, the didn't include the large hose clip that secures the rubber shroud to the toilet outlet. Fortunately mine was a replacement and the one on the old unit was perfectly serviceable.The included foam packaging also makes a good insulated stand for the unit by the way.

Arrived on time, installed easy working perfectly. Only gripe is the the instruction booklet could be more detailed. Overall great service.

Not a small item, and quite specific to its task and capabilities.So I asked a series of technical specification questions.The response was breath taking in its brevity and arrogance.Monosyllabic!Extremely unhelpful.To the point of being rude.That made my mind up.I have gone elsewhere to source a new macerator.I refuse to deal with suppliers who exhibit such blatant Institutional Arrogance.Absolutely disgusted with their attitude.Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
