My son and daughter in law had 7 cats and a puppy, sadly they lost their 20 year old cat but anyone who owns cats and or dogs knows that this year fleas have been so so bad, my sons swears by the flea tablets they have used for a few years and the puppy is now also having the same brand tablet and they do work well but a different method was needed as well this year. They have used household flea sprays, flea foggers and flea powder and they definetly reduced the problem but didn't totally eradicate the fleas. I really felt for them so I searched for a different method to help them, after seeing these plug ins I thought it might help. When the plug ins arrived my son read all the instructions and thought they would not work because they have to be plugged in about 30cms above the ground but like most homes their plugs are above the skirting boards, he plugged them in and straight away they started to have an affect on the fleas, the instructions states that when these are first used you might see more fleas as the sound waves drives the fleas out, this continued for around 4 days then no more fleas were seen. My son definitely feels these plugs are working, although fleas will always be around as the cats and dogs go out, yesterday while at the park my granddaughter got a flea on her when she fell on the grass, so we cannot eradicate fleas totally but these plug ins are helping in the house, which my son is very happy about and let's hope the longer they are plugged in for the result will be even better.Although I do not have these in my home I asked my son if he would recommend them and he said he would and added just remember it's a long term thing - not an overnight cure

Very easy to use, just plug in and switch the power on. Since using spiders have definitely decreased in numbers and resident mouse in the roof has moved elsewhere. Doesn’t appear to cause cat or dog any distress. Really great little invention

Purchased to deal with rat problem in the loft, after installation I thought it had worked as there was no activity seen on the camera for about a week however this may have just been a coincidence because after this they continued and would run right past the noisemaker. I had two in the loft at opposite ends but made no difference whatsoever rats could be seen coming and going on the CCTV completely unfazed by the noisemaker. It’s quite possible that the rats just get used to the noise and then it does nothing. The unit itself is small has a small blue light and makes an occasional clicking noise. However you can’t hear any other noise from it because it is apparently at a frequency humans can’t hear

Simply plug it in!—- (negatives) none to report—Durability - how long will this operate for?This Is the question that I cannot answer. A ‘wait-&-see’ situation.

Kid’s bedrooms turned into a mouse all you can eat buffet of crisp chocolate and biscuit crumbs over December . Tried traps but turns out the delicacies available in the kids rooms were much more appealing than the peanut butter in the traps so I searched online for an alternative. After putting them in the kids rooms and on the landing they had mice no longer, great!….until they seemed to head to my room…the one without the plug in! I have since ordered more plugins and I’ve seen the odd movement but that may be my imagination rather than an actual mouse as no other ‘evidence’ of them being around. Very few spiders either for that matter although I don’t know if we normally have them at this time of year?All in all seem to be working…easy enough to install…plug n go. Much nicer alternative to traps and poison

Received four units in the package which I placed in problem areas with mouse droppings around the house.So far so good … no more mice indoors which I am very happy about.Some reviews mention a strange clicking sound from the ultrasonic units, but we have not heard anything.Still working after a couple of years, so all in all very pleased with my purchase.

I live out in the countryside and I swear we have imported spiders from abroad as every year they seem to get bigger! I am afraid of spiders and have an encounter with the massive beasties on a nightly basis. The last straw was a week or so ago when I felt something tickling my bare belly. You guessed it, a massive, meaty, eight legged, many eyed goliath was nonchalantly sauntering across my naked tummy. I freaked!Amazon to the rescue. I have one of these pest scarers in my room now and although the instructions do state that you may see increased activity for the first few days (as they are running away) I did not encounter this. I have not seen a single spider since plugging it in. There is a barely audible clicking noise every now and then but it is far from incessant and only heard if it is dead silent. It has become white noise to me now and is far preferable to having the unwanted house guests back.
