This is a great choice for a dashcam. It is easy to install, great quality video and overall product. I highly recommend it for not only its quality but also reliability.

This will be my second Rexing V1P MAX I have purchased. The first one was back in September of 2021. I always worked Great even at temperature below zero here in Michigan and the high temperatures in Florida. It also made a good selling point of my last car. The new owner loved it and I think they were more interested it the Dash Cam then the car! I just purchased another Rexing V1P Max for the new car and it was such a pleasure having it ride with me again. I think of it not only as security in case something happens but as a tool for helping me do research for scouting campgrounds for camping sites. With the clarity and GPS showing the position I am able to take a snap shot of the best spots and know right where they are for my Google mapping for making my Reservations. With its WiFi capability I can use the Rexing Connect App. I am also able to view the recording on the Computer and look through the campground for things we want to see or avoid. This Camera will let you see 170 degrees wide and the night vision clarity are a bonus. Installing only took a few minutes and running the wiring to the back was very easy around the headliner to the rear window. They even supplied a little tool and clips to help with that. Also in the box was a second mount to put in second car if you want to change it over to a second vehicle easy to do with the cigarette lighter plug. I would have no reservations of ordering another VP1 MAX and plan to do so for the Motor Home in the near future.

After having had an older V1P (front/rear) camera for years, without issue, I decided it was time to upgrade. the V1P Max 4K seemed to have everything I wanted - Date/Time stamp, built in GPS, 4k resolution on front camera. Camera ordered and arrived quickly. I wasted no time in getting it configured/installed. Once installed, I did a test drive... and this is where I started noticing the issues- Screen saver never blanked screen, even though it was set for 1 minute- Tried pressing the buttons to get into the menu to check screen saver settings - none of the buttons would work. They beeped, so I knew they were being pressed, but there was no resultant action regardless of which button was pressed. Only way to get the buttons to work again was a complete power cycle.- Loaded the video into some dashcam software that should be able to read the GPS data ( and it does on other dashcams) for speed/location. Aside from seeing the speed and location super-imposed on the video, the software was unable to read any GPS data.After trying many things and verifying current firmware, etc, I ended up returning this unit. After some more looking around, I ended up getting the Rexing V1P 4K (not the MAX) (front/rear) camera. So far, everything works 100%. Havent verified GPS yet as that part was ordered separately and hasnt arrived yet.

Excellent Camera. Easy Customer Service. Service was flawless. 1 camera out of over 200 purchased and installed had an issue and they too very good care of me on the replacement.

I bought a Rexing V1P about 6 years ago and had no issues during the time I owned that truck. When I sold the truck, buyer was happy to know it had a working dash cam. The reliability of the unit was so consistent, I bought a V1P Max and Rexing smart hardwire kit for my new truck. Install was relatively easy. The one drawback was the fuse taps that came with the hardwire kit didn't fit the fuse block in the new truck. I had to purchase correct fuse taps and connect them to the hardwire kit. Be sure to to research the fuse type for your vehicle before install.The camera is compact making it easy to find a spot that doesn't distract from the view of the road. The recorded picture quality is great and having a front and rear view is useful.I love the peace of mind that comes with the parking monitor feature when you add the smart hardwire kit. The Kingston SD card recommended by Rexing was easy to install and format to the camera. The card has performed well with no issues.One suggestion I would make to the manufacturer: the hardwire kit needs a right-angle plug for the connection to the camera, similar to the plugs on the 12v power adapter and the rear camera.
