LEGO Creator Expert Brick Bank 10251 Construction Set

This is possibly one of my favorite LEGO sets of all time... this set is massive in person and has some wonderful detail. I would move this set to the top of my purchase list if my goal was to grow and build a LEGO City.Additionally, this set can stand-alone and will look great as a model on display. The Brick Bank will, without doubt, go down as one of the most impressive LEGO modular sets and though may not be getting the limelight now, will surely in the years following its retirement.This set features the typical modular build which means the roof and the 2nd floor of the building are easily removed so you can gain access to the interior.On the inside, there’s a ton to see and do. You’ve got office space, you’ve got a bank teller window, you’ve got a large staircase, you’ve got laundry machines, you’ve got a bank vault, and above all, you’ve got great detail with tons of playability.The build time for this set was over several sittings, so I would estimate it took probably 8 hours. I would definitely only build this set with someone who is a little older, as there are tons of little pieces and lots of somewhat complex building steps. The instruction manual is one large manual and does a good job walking you through the building steps.Great set, great build, tons of fun, awesome overall. We were thrilled to see this available and it arrived in time for Christmas. This set is amazing. So much detail and the trademark Lego humor. Everytime you look at it, there is something new to discover. My 20-year-old was a Lego fanatic as a child and this was the first Lego he built as an adult. He savored the experience and reorganized his dorm room just so he had a good place to display this gem of a building.

I love legos, and this was another awesome lego creation. I have been collecting thier modulars and this was a fun one with the amount of detail involved in it and the creativity behind it.Great recommendation for anyone who knows legos; not good for kids or beginners.

Fun build. The whole building all floors is the bank except the corner wash mat where you can do money laundering. It is a corner building that looks good. Then there is a crook to break into the vault. Lego has a fun sense of humor.

Lego products are always great. Amazon's price was the same as the Lego site. I'm a Prime member so it arrived quickly. My reason for only 4 stars is that it arrived in just the manufacturers Lego box. Nocardboard box to hide what it was or help support the thinner manufacturer box . It was a gift for my son which made me think that if he was younger it would have ruined the surprise. The box was banged up a bit too. That said, one of my continuing complaints with Amazon is that the size of the shipping boxes rarely fits the products (usually way to big)...now I guess I have to be thankful that at least they're in a shipping box 😃

Bought this as my son's 'big' Christmas gift this year knowing it would double as a gift for his sad too, they sat down to do it and I think it took them three days on and off of working on it. It's awesome he takes the floors apart and robbs the bank with his other sets and it fits right together with his other buildings.

This is one of the coolest sets ever. Really detailed, with nifty new elements and lots of functionality. Our 11-year-old is an avid Lego builder and loves it (it was all he wanted for Christmas). He spent 10.5 hours straight building it on Christmas Day. Really an excellent set. I recommend watching the designer video at Lego.com to see the many great details (though the video doesn't even show all the cool hidden stuff).

Another awesome LEGO product for the adult LEGO fan in your household. Great corner building. But not entirely satisfied...LEGO didn’t include REAL MONEY in the bank vault. As LEGO products skyrocket in value after they cease production, these buildings are a great value for the money.
