Wow, wow. Seriously.This thing's incredible, in fact that's an understatement. I've worked with Apple hardware nearly all my early computing life and into late now more than ever, and this product could've been produced and engineered right in 1 Infinite Loop, but that's being disingenuous to the original AUSTERE team - the AUSTERE team absolutely KILLED IT HERE!!! This is simply incredible - the build quality, presentation and performance is simply breathe-taking. To the point where Apple would scoop them up and be proud of their acquisition, but I hope that never happens - however it's like the biggest honor in company actions to be offered such a deal by Apple, and this would be it.Huge positive qualities -- Sheer heft and build quality; NOTHING feels 'cheap' - because it isn't. Incredibly dense and WELL PUT TOGETHER materials, those two are two differentiating factors that can make one fail the other, but both come together here with excellent manufacturing. People rave about the Tripp Lite I own, this eats it for breakfast. It's not even close. This feels like unboxing a MacBook Pro or iPhone. Or buying an Audi.--- The packaging btw is, again, the type that makes you want to keep it, like Apples. Not that any corners were cut in the item itself, but the packaging was put together with quality attention to detail and showmanship as well. Simply exceptional. That matters.Not always, but it's never a bad a thing.--- The *performance* - It's exceptional. How can I know a surge strip does anything different and HOW DO YOU even MEASURE performance?! Lol. The power conditioning makes my Paradigm studio monitor level speaker setup sound better than I've ever heard them sound; the unit itself is quiet, took out all amp noise, and I hear details, deeper bass abound and overall speaker system performance that I didn't even know was possible...No, this isn't snake-oil. Power conditioning is very real, matters and is night and day. The Tripp Lite made a difference, this is simply insane... I have no use to use my ESS Sabre DAC anymore as the Mac Pro 2012's volume output and sound quality is now SO cleaned up, plus the amp of the speakers themselves being cleaned up ---- I'm not missing a dang thing in sound quality. Sounds like - off my built in 2012 Mac audio chip --- my $400 Cirrus Logic DAC.This thing is probably the best friend to your stereo system you can get. It's not a joke. I will now never run my speakers - ANY speakers - without this AUSTERE product. Seriously.Finally --- the peace of mind; you have the peace of mind you think you will have when you plug your expensive gear into this. The cheap crap is simply crap. No two ways about it. Tripp Lite is great, some others are excellent - this is simply the best 'peace of mind' I've ever had to protect my gear! It's REAL. It makes a difference w/ all the other previously mentioned aspects at play.Furthermore, they're a real California down-to-Earth company. No film flam or BS. It's all 'you can get a hold of anyone there like they're your neighbor' type of deal.Only other company like that that's a big one at play is Apple. These guys are so chill. The Gal, who leads the pack at AUSTERE, is simply awesome. She's cool and pushes for the aDesign too - which MATTERS. Seriously, you don't want junk looking cupcakes and burnt waffles running your stuff, do you?! Design cohesively goes with your experience of things in life - and boom, it's not 'snake-oil' of a mind-set, it's real; It's HEALTHY to want and appreciate good design. And this NAILS it.Seriously, there's nothing else like this on the market, and I couldn't be more pleased. Let me put it this way; it SURPASSED my already high expectations. I use to buy Monster products but they don't seem to be available anymore so I tired this one. I do hear more clarity in my music on my Mac and less noise from my Klipsh computer speakers. I love the USB inputs and the quality of the product is great. Would definitely recommend.

So we just bought a new television and I wanted to protect my investment. Electronics will perform better and last longer when fed quality electricity. This is where I can be proactive and so I will look at the specs before I buy and get the highest joule rating for surge protection and voltage line conditioning.

Unit was working fine I have tried to reset or figure out what caused it to fail but no luck. Outlets are fine
