Blue Lizard SENSITIVE Mineral Sunscreen with Zinc Oxide, SPF 50+, Water Resistant, UVA/UVB Protection with Smart Bottle Technology - Fragrance Free, 8.75 oz.

I was looking for something that would work for both UVA & UVB rays and this is it. I have one brightly colored full tattoo sleeve and one sleeve that's half way done and I was looking for something to save my color when I go to the tanning bed as well as when I'm in the sun. I put this item on about 15 minutes before heading to the tanning salon. It didn't seem to initially give a white tint and was a little greasy but nothing too bad. After tanning (with no burn) I came home and waited about two hours before showering. I didn't notice until I got out of the shower that the color in my sleeve was looking dull and almost had a white tint to it. This sunscreen is definitely waterproof (even with me using a great moisturizing soap and loofah). The cost for the size is less than what I paid for a smaller sized bottle of Supergoop. And while I liked the other product I just wasn't sure that I was receiving the protection on my ink. I now know I can depend on Blue Lizard.Comes in a nice sealed squeeze tube (remove the top and remove the silver secured sticker).

The blue lizard sunscreen is impressive quality however it may still not be for everyone with ezcema. I have three kids, one with severe ezcema that will flare up with certain personal care products and laundry detergents and two that have very rare/mild cases of ezcema to personal care products. Unfortunately for my oldest she still cannot use this product as it will make her break out (only sunscreen that works is Neutrogena Zinc for Babies - the pink one - not even Neutrogena for kids works for her). The other two kids can use this blue lizard product (as can I) and it spreads easier than what my oldest has to use so for that I give it 5 stars.

Did a great job. I only applied it once first thing in the morning, swam and walked at the ocean all day and still not sun burned.

If you have sensitive skin to lotions and sunscrees, this product is a smart purchase. I no longer have skin irritation and sunscreen pimples.

Use the travel size bottles on our honeymoon to St. Lucia, it works great even when you apply often as you should. Will be ordering again!

Bought this sunscreen for my husband. He's really picky about the kind of sunscreen he puts on his face and he gives this sunscreen two thumbs up! It doesn't take but a small amount of sunscreen to cover a large area on his face so I consider this product to be a great value for the money.
