Good for candlemaking
I am in a candle business and i use different vessels/jars/cans. This one was meant for smaller candles but it actually can hold 8oz so really worth it since it’s not pricy and looks good. So far no complaints from clients. They actually love it

High quality tins, perfect for candles.
I had a great experience with these candle tins! I've already repurchased.**Quality**My tins were all well-packaged with each tin separated by cardboard dividers – mine didn't have any dents. There was a *tiny* scratch on the lid of one of the tins, but the rest were in good shape. This wasn't a big deal for me because I'm putting labels on the lids anyway.**Temperature resistance**Metal candle tins are great for heat resistance, which I why I bought them for wood wick candles. If you're using wood wicks in your candles, keep in mind that the metal will get hot to the touch due to the larger flame.**Tip for making candles**I found that if you're using the 8oz sized tins for soy wax candles, it's best to use about 6.5oz of wax (by weight). That leaves just enough room for about 1/4 -1/2 inches of wick. I always trim my wicks to 1/4 inch for the smoothest burn. You may find that your candles take a bit longer to cool in metal containers (compared to glass or ceramic) because the tins hold onto heat. Make sure not to move your candles too soon or the tops will come out uneven (I made this mistake).**Lids**The lids are not very secure, which doesn't really matter to me since I'm using these for candles. I don't mind candle lids being a little loose. However, they are probably not ideal to use as storage containers. If you plan on shipping your candles, you'll need to package them securely, otherwise the lids might come off.

Nice quality. Lids fit great
These are a no hassle on the lids. Love the matte feel.Had to switch to aluminum candle holders because every single glass one that I use cracked (I actually like to use a coffee heater to warm up my candles, I get more use out of them and they last WAY longer so I don’t have to use a wick at all). The aluminum candle holders can hold heat really well and will not break on me so that’s really awesome.High quality and I love the finish on this.Really evenly distributes the heat on the candle and doesn’t have any warping of the wax or anything.

Several Tins Dented
5/7/24: UPDATED REVIEW ♥️The Seller reached out to me immediately and resolved the issue by sending me a replacement box. I'll definitely order from them again, especially if they begin offering other colors like the fuchsia I see on other sites.I definitely recommend._________I'm soooo disappointed about the number of tins that arrived with dents. These are too cute & expensive for the shipper to not do a better job packing these delicate tins. 🗣️Spend the extra money sir/ma'am/they to properly secure these tins so they don't get damaged during shipping - ain't nobody for time to ship these back for an exchange 🙄 please and thanks ✌🏾...There, I said what I said.I'm on the fence regarding recommending these because while they're gorgeous, I'm concerned that they may simply not ship well for my candle business.

Not one dented
They stain so you have to be careful using dark colors. You will need a hot gun to use to wipe sides clean. They are also good to use if you want to use and label them as samples and the boxes they come in are beautiful and easily stackable. I only wish it would come with wick recommendations. So far wood wicks work and using votive wicks until I find a solution.

I LOVE these tins, however they are not white.
I'm an interior designer and product designer for interior goods, FIRST... I LOVE H+C's tins. They are designed well, consistently high quality, and gift well. I also make candles and all LOVE H+C's satin finish black tins. These tins are just simply so - not white. They are a super pale "tint color" that can best be described as a HINT of a grey lavender (cool purple). As previous bloggers mention. My photo the tin sitting beside a white glass container with BOTH sitting ON TOP OF professional printers' "permanent stick paper" (for labels)... it's a standard "soft white paper." Unfortunately, labels printed could not be adhered to this H+C's tin -- they would literally clash w/ the tin. H+C's: you have such GREAT TINS, please consider a new white for your next batch. Look to Benjamin Moore's Chantilly White, Snowfall White, or Cotton Ball White (all soft whites and will complement weddings/events and home interiors well!) . If wanting a "optic white" look to BM's "Super White" and Behr's "Ultra White" are perfection.

Perfect for Candles!
After trying out several different containers for candles (glass jars & other tins) these passed the quality test! They don't get too hot even after burning the candle for long periods of time! I did attach some little pads on the bottom because I didn't want the bottom getting hot but I've been so happy with these!
