Battistoni Classic Italian Pepperoni, 16oz Stick

An excellent pepperoni that is reasonably priced. The consistency is firm and not greasy. I do not detect the hard bits of gristle that cheap pepperoni sausages have. The spiciness is just right for my taste which tends towards hot spicy food. The only negative is the casing which is like cellophane. The casing does not chew up or dissolve in the mouth. I now cut a slice about 1/8 inch thick and peel off the casing before eating it, and this works great.

I lived in central and western NY for 7 years 50 years ago. This Buffalo made pepperoni brings me back. MANGIA!

This was the first time ordering this brand. It was the best I've ever had. I slow cook chunks of pepperoni in the crock pot all day, so you can eat it with a fork. Hardly any grease.

Snack, with cheese platter!

Not as good as Hormel.

I only use pepperoni for my homemade pizza. The flavor of this pepperoni is wonderful. There is a big difference in flavor from the standard sliced brand name pepperoni I buy from the grocery store. It freezes better too. I don't preslice it before I store it in the freezer. I just vacuum seal it and throw it in the freezer. Take it out of the freezer slice off what I need, vacuum seal what is left and throw it in the freezer again.
